Don't get me wrong, at least Linkin Park created a recognizable sound, even if many of the elements are extremely lame, so they are still more respectable than all those post grunge, emo, pop punk, and even many other nu-metal bands. But they're still pretty shitty. |

| masterbarf 06/06/18 10:06:11 AM #7 | Amazon reviews don't mean shit. People ignorant enough to buy shit are the last people whose opinion you want to listen to. All-in-one turntables that come with speakers and amplification built in are not worth the box they come in. They are poorly made, sound like shit, and worst of all, apply too much tracking force which ruins records. If your budget is around $100, buy used. You will get a much better table that way. Anything new in that price range is a plastic toy with terrible tone at best. The AT LP120 will get the job done but it has its issues. They sometimes have uneven platters, and always have a lot of rumble. Styli pick up rumble so you want all the moving parts to be as quiet as possible. Technics is a good brand to look for when buying vintage and are very common. Remember, in addition to the table you will need speakers, and three stages of amplification; a phono stage, a preamp, and a power amp. You can buy these stages in one, two, or three pieces. If you want them all together look for an integrated amplifier with a phono input. That is where you will plug your turntable into the amplifier. You can also buy an integrated amplifier with a preamp and power amp included and a separate phono stage. Or get three separate pieces. Older amps usually have a phono input, but may require refurbishing. For research stereophile.com is a great website, and vinylengine.com has a forum with very helpful users. |

The driving simply has zero nuance and does not behave intuitively at all. Without intuitive and nuanced physics, there can be no immersion. Removing nuance to the degree V does, removes differentiation among cars. Muscle cars do not have muscle car personality. The same can be said for 4x4s, super cars and every class. Not to memtion specific cars within the class. Then the cars do not behave as somebody with half a brain would expect. They do not turn on a curve, there is no inertia, no weight, no relationship between power, rate of acceleration and friction. The result is not only gameplay without immersion, but the cars do not feel like they're connected to world they belong to. You don't need to go full out sim mode for there to be fun and immersion, but there has to be an intuitive relationship between a car's characteristics, its environment, and the player's inputs. Instead of describing friction, power, weight, inertia with elegant, intuitive curves, everything is either on all the way or off all the way. The gameplay is utterly destroyed. |

Button mashing won't get a player anywhere. It's the technicality, strategy, decision making, and adapting that make the game come alive. If a player can't understand, perceive, and utilize these elements the game just doesn't have much else to offer. That being said, if one is willing to learn the game, they can appreciate the deepest, most balanced, most elegant test of skill the genre has to offer. |

It is a fact that they don't commit many crimes-They do come here to make a better life for themselves after all. They essentially function the same way as anybody else. How we label them is nothing more than semantics. Illegal immigration is only a problem if we make it one. The primary thing that needs to be fixed is how easily exploited they are. An illegal should be able to report crimes, abuse, being paid or otherwise treated unfairly by employers without having to worry about deportation. If they break the law, or evade taxes then they can be prosecuted or have their wages legally garnished like everybody else. There may be cases where deportation is the best option, but such a harsh punishment should only be used in extreme cases. |

It's often very easy to tell if somebody is Jewish by looking at them. Just like Japanese people, or Chinese people, or black people, or Indian, or whatever. Yes there can be races within races. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand. A race is created when a finite population mate with each other over enough generations that genes are shared across the population. Crossbreeding with other groups occurs, perhaps in this respect Jews are not as distinct or defined as other races, but there's no rule about how much crossbreeding is too much There's no rule about how many genes have to be shared. I know my Jewishness is more than a religion but a bond by blood. |

Jews are not a "race" anymore than Swedes are a "race" .There are black Jews in Ethiopia FFS. Ethiopians who share Jewish blood. Most people have genes belonging to different racial groups. Assuming you consider black skin a racial attribute, you're basically saying that a population of people who are 99% one race and 1% another means that the race that makes up 1% of their genes is not a race. That doesn't make any kind of sense. Guess what. There are people out there who are 99% of that race. And Jewish blood is as much a race as any other. It's been passed down within a finite sized population long enough to create distinct physical attributes. Now if you wanted to argue that because race is always defined by grey areas that there is essentially no such thing as race at all, I'd concur. But if racism is a thing then stereotyping Jews is as racist as stereotyping blacks. |
