I've had that one part of the commercial, where the kids say kirby and then the singer says nightmare in dreamland, stuck in my head on and off since I saw it as a kid. Every time some mentioned kirby, i just thought that immediately.

What's the premise?

Suddenly, almost everyone began being born with a "Quirk" (basically mutants, but instead of only a few people being mutants, now its only a few people not being mutants). The main character wants to be a hero (as thats a career path now), but he doesn't have a quirk. He gets one from someone else and goes to a school to train to be a hero.

I love Dark Souls and you can't go wrong there either, imo, but...

Yeah, Trails FC easily tops those games and many more. Really great series that deserves more recognition.

I think Trails has the best story, but the gameplay is kinda eh so far. Maybe it gets better in future games, but for now its definitely nothing special.

Yeah, thats what I did. But its still possible, say with base racials, or a skill book, to accidentally go over the limiting level. So just be careful, and if you see an intermediate or advanced trainer before you find a basic, just ignore it until you find the lower one.

If I buy training in a skill, said point is permanent? So if I fateweave after buying persuade training, it resets to 1 rather than 0?

Yes. It's also possible to miss trainer points if you use them in wrong order and there's at least 1 missable trainer. Just a heads up.

How so?

Each trainer will only train you in a skill if you are at or below a certain level in that skill. So, a Novice Blacksmith trainer will only train you if you have 3 or less skill points in BS. However, an Expert BS trainer doesn't care what level you are, since as long as you aren't maxed out, you can train with him. So, it's possible to find a higher level trainer before a low one, use that high level training because you don't know about the lower one, and therefor possibly be outside of the low level trainers training range, therefor missing potential permanent point in that skill.

Tuck Everlasting. You drink from the well of immortality (or w/e it was), and you are immortal. You don't age, so the 6 year old boy will never be older than 6 years old, physically (not sure about mentally, I don't remember that part). Everybody you care about will die and you will keep on living. There is no way out, since even if you try to blow your head off with a shotgun, it doesn't work.

It seems cool at first, and I originally thought it would be great. But then I started thinking. What if the rest of humanity dies out and you're the last person on the planet. And as the years go by and the sun eventually cools off or supernovas, you either freeze or burn for a few thousand years with no escape, assuming you can't find some way off the planet. Then, if you're still stuck here when the earth crumbles to dust in a few billion years, you're kinda just stuck floating around space for eternity, with no way out.

So, uh, no thanks to immortality you can't opt out of.

Fuck yeah.

Had to reload to try a persuade check again, figured I'd kill the 2 boggarts in my way again.

One dropped some purple shoes. 10% Mana regen, 15 more armor, 10 more Mana, 5% experience bonus.

There are armor sets in the game (orange quality I think), and while thats nice, good luck ever getting more than 1 or 2 pieces of set, since just like those purple shoes,most of it's a random drop chance or randomly in a chest. There are the DLC sets, but if you open the DLC chest for em early, they suck, since they don't level up with you or anything like that.

I loved the game. It later led me to Dragon's Dogma... which led me to other things.
