in response to an earlier game on the list, I played Good Cop, Bad Cop for the first time last night

we played with 5 people, which seemed to cause some issues with the imbalance of teams, because whichever side had 3 members had a clear advantage in the games we played. that may have been better had we been playing with an even number. I didn't hate it, but I would definitely never pick it over regular Resistance or anything.

Sounds like the mobile versions are getting the updates the PC version is getting too. What a strange amount of work to put in for this out of nowhere.

The sprite filtering on the PC version looks questionable, though, based on those screenshots.

Modern Masters 1 was a pretty fun draft format. As far as the masters draft formats go, I think I got Eternal > Modern 1 > Modern 3 > Modern 2. I never did get a chance to try Iconic.

So far 25th looks like kind of a mess draft-wise, but we'll see once we get more of the commons and uncommons.

Cycle quests are giving double rewards for the next week, which is great. All the cycle quests reset too, so thats a bunch of extra gems to get.

Yeah, I rarely ever get my games from a brick and mortar store. Usually it's from an online retailer like CSI or Amazon when they're having sales.

One in a while I'll support my local store when they're having sales, but their prices are usually way too bloated to consider it.

Gisela's a bit of a whiff, Akroma (with inferior art) is a big whiff. Thalia's a good reprint. Chalice is too, but the rarity upshift is gross. There's no reason for that to be mythic.

I think it may depend on how much you've leveled it.

Like, I think Squall's 5* at level 25 is going to be better than Cloud's 4* at level 1 on Cloud. If they're both level 25, the Buster Sword might be better due to the passive bonus that Cloud gets from using Buster Sword.

If you master the 4* (fully LB & max level) you get the passive on the character to equip even when you arent using the weapon. Same with 5*s.
