K: Okay, so lets start with Twilight 1. I think you solved the issue with the sealed envelope last time.
A: Yeah, the wax seals arent fool-proof and Rosa could feasibly understand how to remove it without breaking it and reapply it.
(Later: I realize now that we BOTH forgot about a red truth somewhere that said the key was never in anyones possession from the time it was given to Maria until the letter was opened. That said, I think Arria would be able to solve it easily now. Were told the chapel was locked by Rosa and no other evidence was ever shown suggesting she was telling the truth.)
A: Reading this part now, I have a different interpretation. (The part in question was where I wrote in the notes The seven Ushiromiya adults and Beatrice gathered in the chapel. All seven acknowledge the existence of Beatrice as a witch.)
A: I think this is just Rosa with a gun threatening everyone. There was a bar of gold here, correct?
K: Yeah, we were show at least one, possibly more, when the characters investigate the scene later
A: And that was the gold Krauss and Natsuhi knew about, right? What if they invited the family into the chapel and were going to show off the gold to gain some kind of leverage over them, but Rosa had a gun and decided f*** it and murdered them all to keep the gold.
K: Okay. So how about the Happy Halloween for Maria bit. Who did that?

I love reading this topic because all of a sudden I'll get random, wild stray thoughts. Well, one old thought and one completely new one, but here we go:

#1. After learning about what 'gouging and killing' is in relation to 'finding the entrance to the golden land,' what if Game 2 is all about how Rosa solved the epitaph? It's the game board written by Shannon with the most urgency to discover her identity and understand who Shannon is and what love is and feels the most confessional with her heartache (though thinking on how she wrote these when Battler was a surprise to return to the island is a bit of a mystery thinking back now...), and even one of the few where she definitely died before the end of the game. Those games are almost always the ones where someone else discovered the gold. Game one is all Shannon, all planning to perfection. Game two is Rosa throwing a wrench into everything, the Black Witch coming about with how brutal some of the deaths are, and Rosa's golden land and run from the bomb definite signs that she knew stuff.

So, if Rosa solved the epitaph, she would know how to get into the chapel without needing the envelope key. ...Okay, reading the Red Truths is making my head hurt, but 'this front door' is tricky... and the six people doesn't fit either when Rosa first opened the door or when Battler's group came (but there's also no mention of ONLY the six, nor red specification it was the six who died).

Also, was there a letter in Maria's envelope or just a key? "The letter that I handed over to Maria and the one Rosa opened are the same thing" // "The key to the chapel truly was the object inside the envelope I gave Maria" What is the key wasn't a key? Rosa opens the door with the physical key while accompanied by Shannon and Kanon. What if there's an actual letter in there with the answer for how to enter? Did Battler ever physically see the physical key?

Now, more and more and more overthinking... Rosa never discovered the gold. I'm lying, Rosa never discovered the gold. This is Vengeance Yasu showing off that she is Beatrice to the six adults (not counting Rosa who wasn't invited), blowing them up, then focusing all the clues to pinning it on Rosa. For Maria and her story of abuse? For her dead mother? Because she's broken and messed up?

#2. SMALL BOMBS? Or maybe, Shannon and her love to explode things this episode just hid dynamite under the table!

Agents of SHIELD S1 was definitely a tough ride for awhile. Loved May and Coulson and Skye, but everyone else was alright. FitzSimmons grew on me, but they felt very bland and stock for the longest time, even moreso adding Tripp as what seemed like another love interest. I forgot how much he was around in the first season, as well as how early some other things appeared. The TAHITI stuff saved my interest early on and kept me going through some tough standalones, and when HYDRA hit, boy, I was hooked for the rest of the season.

S2... I think I quit on it multiple times, yet I think I've seen 80% of the episodes? I know the big winter break between raiding the temple and "Aftershocks" was a long one, and I'm surprised that Coulson figuring out it was a map wasn't as long and drawn out as I remembered. I really never got invested in Whitehall, Jianying (Sierra!), and The Doctor (though now that I've seen Twin Peaks, I kind of want to go back for him). Agent Carter held my interest more (Victor!), and I barely remember any of Afterlife. I will say Hunter and Bobbi are the best, and Mack started slow but I got to love him later. Lincoln and Talbot... ugh.

B.

Though Fah and Jamison are definitely in the most dire need at the front door, here's why I think B is the best option.

1. The creature attacking Jen (who I shall call SC for Stairs Creature) also just attacked both Jen and Kidd. SC is in the most immediate range.

2. SC is injured by the flames. He and Jen can take it down faster and go help Jamison/Fah together than the two soloing their own creatures.

3. If Kidd went to help Jamison and Fah, he'd likely have to pass this creature and deal with a complete uninjured new creature at the door way leaving Jen to fend for herself.

4. Hypnotic eyes. Both Kidd and Jen could be suckered in or stunned going head-to-head with the FDC (Front Door Creature) and SC. Kidd is behind SC right now and can stop any funny business and help Jen deliver better blows.

5. Kidd doesn't have his gun. If he did, I'd definitely say to help Jamison and Fah, but he's limited right now. Go after the injured one in immediate proximity.

I've been doing some thinking on the meaning of 'furniture' in this story and I've started to see it as far less horrifying than it's initially presented. From the magical side of the story, I think it still refers to a servant. But from the 'real' side of the story, I think it only applies to the pieces of a soul. If the body of Sayo is a house, then all her personas are the furniture that decorates the inside of her soul.

30. Beat a game with a female lead

Life is Strange

- Where to begin? Where to end? What to say and not say? This was one amazing, incredible experience. This is one of those games I'm going to remember even when I'm senile. The entire cast of characters were intriguing, the music was fantastic, the choices were difficult, the emotions were real, the otherworldliness was perfect, the little touches and details to the world were so good. Though I can see the on-rails point-to-point-to-point visual novel style of events (unlike a Telltale game where you usually get to play around with where you go and who you meet with), the magic is in the surroundings and the atmosphere and the characters and the thoughts and memories Max makes throughout her days.

As good as the story, music, twists, characters, settings, timey wimey, everything and more... I think the most unique and understated offering the game gives you is multiple moments just to sit. Just to optionally take a seat and relax as you get a little panorama slideshow of the happenings around you as Max thinks her thoughts and a nice melody plays under the radar. I feel like a lot of the game is to not take for granted what you have and to put your best foot forward in all situations because you won't have those chances or opportunities to say something or see someone again, and just the option to take a seat, even if you have a million things to do, is also nice because taking a breath and drinking in what goes around you can be just as important.

Depends on what kind of game it is, how much time I think I want to invest it in, and if there are achievements I think I can get. If it's an rpg or more story based, usually the toughest. If it's an action game, usually hard.

As someone who struggled to rank 200 songs in under half a year IIRC, I think you've been moving at a decent clip, especially with how you're dealing with a ton of songs you probably don't want to part with yet, or songs you can't understand even by stats how they're up higher than some others.

Only 123 until Top 1000!

I'm also surprised and honored to share a spot with Johnbobb as the only two nominators with all three of their 70s noms intact after that massacre of '70s hits (though admittedly, most of them weren't from the nominators).

- Definitely had no idea when nominating it hadn't actually been released on an album in 20 years. I was having a tough time finding an '80s nomination and spent a good deal of that time browsing lists and soundtracks for some ideas. There was a moment when I was a bit surprised to see Police Academy make some of the lists; I remember really enjoying the movies growing up and the theme is a catchy and memorable instrumental, but it was a surprise to hear it again in full.

There's something about it that evokes a celebration of time past. It feels like it was outdated even upon release, feeling more like something out of Animal House's take on the 50s or something The Music Man would lead on parade than a tune in the raucuous 80s. But there's something... patriotic about it. A summer's day parade, a salute to the local cops and firefighters, a fun day at the baseball park, a trip to the circus, graduation. It's hopeful and celebratory and optimistic. It's also kitschy and small in its bombast, something innocent and local. I really enjoy it, and as good as a lot of '80s movie soundtracks are, Police Academy March stands out among them quite well.

- Back when I actually had music saved on my computer and a stick.am account tracking my most played songs, #41 was easily in my top ten. I enjoy the whole Crash Into Me album and listen to the whole thing in background while drawing or reading, but the long and winding #41 dances in my ears the best with its lovely instrumentals and building vocals. The live versions and alterations are really good, too, even when they sometimes come in and almost twenty minutes long, but it's easy listening done extremely well. I'm a big fan of horns.

So, by Trump criticizes Trump or Party of Projection theory, we can infer that he has done this at some time himself to get out of paying for shoes at some high-end store.

I mean, I can see him arguing that he tried on a new pair of shoes, liked them, didn't like the price, and then argued about how he wore these in to the store (probably with nobody actually asking).
