I can't remember exactly, but if I remember correctly, when someone attempted to rig the election for Gore by giving him debate questions in advance, he declined and outed the supplier.

This isn't really evidence of anything as he still could have cheated and was just simply recognizing a trap or something like that

There are troll tactics that are much better than Legendaries that are banned in regular play for a reason.

Literally use every pokemon with fucking spore and put the entire other team to sleep lmao.

Or make half your team Air Slash Togekiss. Every attack has a 60% chance of making the enemy flinch. If you are lucky, you can flinch lock half their team with a single Togekiss.

Or use Perish Song Mega Gengar, where the enemy can not escape, but you can. So you can swap out last second and get a free KO.

I'm undefeated in the anything goes tier and I don't use legendaries

In my mind you have these workable teams.

Takumi, Tiki, Camilla, Olivia (probably your best team)

Reinhardt, Lyn, Tiki/Ike, Olivia (second best)

Takumi, Tiki, Camilla, Minerva (flying team, for beating quests)

You might be able to build an ok Calavry team for quests.
Seth might be usable at 4 star. He has high Def and the ruby sword so he can counter axe users.

idk, you have some great fodder, but I'm not sure it's worth using on units you may never use when you pull something better, but... Laslow has Axebreaker 3 and that would work well on him

As soon as possible, promote your 4 star Reinhardt to 5 star (20,000 feathers)
[whichever Reinhardt is plus Atk. I'm pretty sure your 4 star was if I remember correctly]

Promote your three star Gunter to four star. (3,000 feathers)
Have Lyn Inherit from Gunter Hone Cavalry.

You have quite a few mobility fodder units. Selena, Barst and Stahl. At some point you'll want to have your Flying units inherit Selena and Barst's reposition, but maybe wait a bit to see which ones you like the most since you have limited fodder.

Have Olivia inherit Wings of Mercy 3 from Cain

If you have a Wings of Mercy 3 Olivia, it will make your team considerably more effective.

If you ran a 4 star Olivia, and your Summer Takumi, Camilla and Tiki, you would be able to beat the Tempest Trials on Lunatic easily.

Merging trashes on unit, and if they are the same rarity, raises the the stat cap for two stats by 1. It cycles by highest stat so every merge will add different stats. You can do this ten times for a maximum of +4 in all stats.

Basically never, ever do this. Unless the character is either absolute garbage or if both units are 5 stars.
Merges don't carry over to 5 star, or the next star level, so if you plan to ever promote them, you are basically throwing away the character for almost nothing.

And if you are merging 5 stars, make sure the unit with the good IVs, aka the good stats, is NOT the one being deleted.

For example, you have a +Atk Reinhardt at 4 star if I remember correctly. Eventually, you might have him at 5 star and another 5 star reinhardt. You should make sure to merge the other Reinhardt INTO the +Atk one.

My recommendation is just to never ever merge until you are experienced with the game

He seems really good, even with the -Atk, but now I'm tempted to try and get a better one even though I never wanted him. I hate IVs sometimes, makes me wish I never got certain characters at all

The best time to summon in terms of getting the most bang for your orbs are on legendary banners.

They have better odds at pulling 5 stars and every 5 star pulled on the banner is guaranteed to be a focus unit. The focus units on these banners generally are the best and most sought after units in the game.

There won't be another one for a while though.

Generally, use your orbs to get specific characters. If there is a character you really want, pull on their banner and summon their colored orbs.

I generally don't only go for the best units. I like collecting the babes and just characters I like from the games.

It so happens though that a lot of the babes and fan favorite characters are also top tier units.

There are extremely hard challenges in the game and even if you manage to overcome all of them, facing player teams in the Arena will always pose some kind of challenge.

Infantry Melee units in general are extremely underwhelming. Because they have bad range, worse buffs, and with Armors getting Armor March and Boots, Infantry are basically just Armors with low stats and no buffs. Not to mention Armors have access to godlike skills.

I personally have three Brave Ikes and one Brave Lucina and I never use them. Brave Lucina is especially disappointing.

Her prf weapon sucks. It's a support weapon. And her skills are atrocious. She only has ok Def, has bad Res. Good attack and speed, but she isn't fast enough to double sword units, which is the only time you will ever be using her. Is to fight sword units. Her applications are extremely limited.

Brave Ike can be a good lance baiter.

The fact that they didn't give Brave Ike built in Distant Counter when all his alts got it is a real shame...

The other three brave units are good units, but nothing special.
Brave Ike is really great as a fodder unit as Steady Breathy is one of the best A skills in the meta-game.

But new players shouldn't care about Steady breath Foddering. It's better to have the best units you can at the beginning and worry about sacking 5 star units later. When you get duplicates.

Forgetting Brave Bow+ shenanigans for a second, her default kit is incredible.

Sacae's Blessing is exclusive to Brave Lyn and makes it so no Axe/Sword/Lance unit can counter-attack. Meaning she completely ignores all physical melee units with Distant Counter as an A skill or have Distance Counter in their weapon. Hector, Ike, Fjorm, Xander, Ryoma and so on... are popular characters who come with the ability without inheritance and everyone and their momma has Distant Counter in the Arena.

To understand why it is such a good skill, consider this.

This is the description for another B skill called Windsweep.

If unit initiates combat, unit cannot make a follow-up attack. If unit's Spd foe's Spd and foe uses sword, lance, axe, bow, or dagger, foe cannot counterattack.

Windsweep is almost identical to Sacae's blessing, except Sacae doesn't have a speed requirement and Sacae still allows Lyn to make a follow-up attack.

Her weapon Mulagir, is a prf weapon, has 14 Mt (tied with the highest of any bow), grants her an extra +3 Speed (which is great for Lyn), and ignores magic buffs (which isn't that important tbh because most are squishy anyway except for Dragons which hard-counter Lyn regardless)

Her A skill, Swift Sparrow 2 is also really good for Lyn. She greatly benefits from both speed and attack and she should only be used on offense. SS2 gives her +4 Atk and Spd when she attacks an enemy.

Then you have to take in consideration she is a ranged cavalry unit, meaning she can move 3 spaces, attack from 5 spaces away, and utilize the Hone Cavalry buff (which grants +6 atk and spd to a cavalry unit)

Hone Cavalry is very common skill and a neutral default kit Lyn will have 48 Spd and 57 Attack with buffs when she attacks the enemy, and can only be countered by other ranged units and dragons.

With all that hype shit out of the way, Reinhardt is still better imo...
But Lyn is basically like a colorless Reinhardt (almost. With Brave Bow+ she's more like him)

Just for reference, the units I started with were absolute dogshit comparatively.

For maybe a month of two, the only 5 stars I had were Roy and Sheena and Roy was absolute garbage before he got his refine. Sheena was pretty horrible as well before inheritance/refines and even then.
(She's ok now on Armor Emblem teams)

Eventually I just used my feathers to build a team out of my 4 stars instead. I pulled a 4 star +Atk Effie and a 4 star +Atk Reinhardt near the beginning of the game. (they are both top tier units, especially at the time)

Your three 5 stars are pretty good.

Azura is a dancer and every single dancer/singer in the game is great. Plus she comes sapphire lance so she can take out some red units when she has too.

Sigurd is very durable and well rounded. Great attack, Great Defense, ok speed, low resistance, but his weapon is really good and offsets his low resistance.
Mages deal half damage to him on their first attack, meaning despite having low resistance, he can tank some magic units.

Linde is good, although Lyn is better than Linde and they serve similar roles.
Linde is great offensively for cavalry teams.
