I use a tiered password system with a few different email/passwords at each tier

Low tier: anything with no financial value or progression tied to it, that is, I could make a free new account for that service and be right back where I was (use like the same couple passwords for everything here)
Mid tier: anything I've paid for or put significant work into (usually have the worst trouble with remembering these since these have the largest number of combinations)
Top tier: email and financial accounts (use these enough I never forget)

Depends on the game. Something like Skyrim where you can freeze time in the middle of combat to dig into your pack, stuff 3 sweetrolls in your mouth, wash them down with a couple healing potions, and go from nearly dead to full health in an instant is kind of cheaty and I either self-impose a rule where I don't do it, or use a mod that makes it a heal over time.

But the typical turn based RPG you're spending your turn/action to use the item (and pay the material cost) vs doing an attack or other ability and thus its a fair trade off in my mind

the ISP always has control over the updates on the modem itself. If you have a separate router you can control the updates or even install alternate firmware on it. However, a modem with wifi built in, includes the router part so you're limited to the manufacturer's firmware that is provided to the ISP for your router as well

So, in terms of a modem, it depends on the speed level you subscribe to

Docsis 3.1 is the newest standard and supports gigabit speeds, but expect to pay at least $150 for one
Docsis 3.0 modems, the speed will depend on how many channels it has. With 8 channels you get a max around 200-250 mbps, so double that for a 16 channel and again for a 32

For routers, you want one with dual band wireless ac. I like the ones by Netgear, Asus, or Tp-link. Even the ones in the $80-100 price range have gigabit ethernet and the 5ghz wifi getting at least 300 mbps.

Pendor is pretty awesome, definitely get a high risk high reward feeling from the world. I just found this guy with high INT and medic skills which is awesome. I don't get why some knight orders are hostile to me though (I only kill bandits and heretics as my trade).

In any case, it's really cool for there to be all these groups besides disgruntled Jarls and kings. Those Noldor elves or whatever are super OP. They ate up my super high rank army of 50 with their arrows just standing in a line.

There are two orders that are hostile by default. Knights of the Dawn are zealots who see everyone as sinners to be cleansed, though their relation isn't that low and you can usually boost it into the neutral range if you save a few of their patrols and then avoid fighting them. Knights of Eventide are an evil heretic order that starts pretty far into the negative so not really worth trying to get on their good side.

Depending on your character background choices, there might be other hostile orders as well.

For the Noldor, part of the victory objective is to boost your relations with them, so engaging them directly isn't recommended. Most cases I'd help a lord fight them and autoresolve if there was a good chance of getting more than 4 prisoners (since you lose 4 relation for fighting them, but gain 1 relation for each one you release from captivity).

My truck is the most valuable but it's also insured so would only cost me $1000 to have it replaced if it was swallowed up in a pit or something.

So I'd go with my PC for both the value and all the stuff I have saved on it (though I do keep an external drive with backups)

Nexus is the way to go

Following a guide is highly recommended for a Bethsoft game since just dropping a bunch of mods into your game is usually going to give you a bad time (as I've learned first hand). I'm highly partial to the STEP guides since they incorporate mods of all different types in a way that keeps the game balanced, immersive, stable, and relatively bug free, and you can sort of pick and choose what ones you want to use.

Prophesy of Pendor is definitely my favorite. Has plenty of new features and content to freshen things up but doesn't go wild and make it feel like a totally different game, and all done to a high level of quality and polish (only crashed a few times playing it, usually after a few hours into a session and during a large siege or such)

The cable signal for all major providers (and guessing most if not all the smaller ones) is an all digital signal that requires a receiver of some kind to be decoded. The receiver is then programmed to enable access to whatever channels youve subscribed to. Access to channels is based on the codes enabled on your account at the office side (the code specifies both the billing amount and channel access, so you cant get one without the other).

The old way was that access to channels was restricted by installing filters on site, so the installer could forget to put the filter on when a few crisp bills had crossed his palm

Having all four of them being the same year that far back is pretty suspicious in of itself
