I can see how some would interpret it that way. "Rows of shields" sounds like it could refer to the plates. I don't get "fearsome teeth" from a herbivore though.

When a mouth is big enough to swallow your head whole, I'm pretty sure ANY kind of teeth would be "fearsome".

I was gonna point out that a stegosaur's head wasn't that big, but...

They talk about chaos theory and nature finding a way, but the truth is that the problems in the first film were caused by internal sabotage and plot-convenient negligence. In real life, no one would be dumb enough to place the main power source for the island right next to the containment area of the most vicious, most intelligent animal on the island.

Occasionally, a confined predator or ape will get a hold of a human being with tragic consequences. But we don't destroy entire species or ship them back to their island of origin and be done with them. I can say with relative certainty that dinosaurs would not be these magic creatures destined to break out of all forms of confinement and devour the living.

The only thing that might stop me, aside from the expense, is the ethical issue. "Playing God" may seem like a weak argument to the secular, but it is crossing a line which many others and myself feel should not be crossed. I love my dear departed canine whom I ran with every day and I wouldn't think of having her genetically recreated in a lab.

Still, if I were powerless to stop others from playing God, I would most certainly pay the price of an admission to see a real life tyrannosaurus. <_<

Yeah, I think that implication was lost in the film. The characters come to realize it's all a fabrication, but the audience remains enchanted by the magic of live dinosaurs.

I didn't realize it myself until I saw a rejected poster for the film which showed dinosaur footprints on a beach and had the famous tagline, "An adventure 65 million years in the making." I thought to myself, "That doesn't make sense. The poster makes it seem like dinosaurs had survived extinction." Then I had that "Ohhhhhhhhhh...." moment when it dawned on me that, being clones with altered DNA, they're not real dinosaurs.

I'd seen the original movie more than a dozen times and it took a rejected poster to make me realize what should've been evident by the movie's end.

Ironically, the use of stop motion would've given the game a unique look which might have allowed it to be its own thing in the absence of the Primal Rage name. If they'd changed the backgrounds, and made one or two of the fighters look like they're from the modern era, they probably could have released it as its own thing.

But as a Primal Rage sequel, this could have only lost money.

I hate to see all of that time and effort go to waste. When it comes to time consumption, stop motion animation is no joke. The problem was simply that no one asked for a sequel where you played as human avatars. The game would have allowed you to play as the saurians in their original forms, sure, but they were just reused sprites from the first game. The primary focus was on the human cast members.

You can find video of the mostly finished game on YouTube.

Because she's a huge nature freak and would never wear dead animal skin. In the cartoon show, the reason given for her hair going from blonde to black was that she stopped purchasing her hair dye because the manufacturers tested the product on animals.

I'll admit she looks good. The costume is a nice compromise of current and classic Catwoman. I just wish they hadn't cut her hair short.

I know it's her signature, but she's literally the last woman in DC who should have short hair.

The heck you talking about? That's the number one defunct finisher that should be brought back. The Stone Cold Stunner is better, but it's so closely tied to Steve Austin that it'll be another 20 years before anyone can use it.

Sure, in real life, someone would just dig their free hand into the Lex's eyes to escape. But it makes a great visual to have someone suspended helpless in the air while their back and ribs are twisted.

You can't close down the thing the entire community is financially dependent upon because of a casualty. That'd be like if somebody got killed on the highway that everyone took to get to their places of employment in the city... and they decided to close down the entire city because of it.

The dog and the Kintner kid could've been avoided if they'd taken precautions after Chrissy's death. The shark didn't kill in spite of protection, but in the absence of it. Two pranksters set off a false alarm which diverted all of their resources away from the pond and allowed the shark to slip in unopposed.

That is the fundamental reason why people hate mutants so much.

Which is why X-Men doesn't work for me. It's an anti-prejudice story in a world where the "master race" actually exists.

Superheroes are better when they're ahead of the curve. There's no need to devalue human beings for the sake of devaluing them. The Marvel movies have done a good job of making them seem like they matter too. When people start developing fire breath and telekinesis without explanation beyond "evolution leaps forward," that's all gonna go out the window.

X-Men are better off self-contained in their own universe.

Nah. They should leave it as it is.

They didn't need the X-Men mythos to be great and they still don't. In fact, I think the series will take a hit if they incorporate the X-Men into it. Having an entire demographic of people with mutant powers simply devalues what it means to be a normal human being.
