I dont disagree with the premise of regulating guns with safety courses, but owning a gun is a constitutional right. Owning a car isnt. So, thats going to be a hurdle to overcome. But, again, I dont disagree with the idea of having gun safety courses and being licensed to own one if the process is reasonable.

DC v Keller tried that and failed. The main reason was because the licensing procedure was so strict that is practically barred everyone from owning a gun. The regulations were so strict that the plaintiff in this case, a police officer, could not get licensing to own a firearm in his home.

While requiring training and licensing sounds good, the little details can essentially shut down the Second Amendment if the requirements are practically impossible to meet.

I dont think assault rifles are going to be banned any time soon, if ever, but to answer the question; yeah.

Itll never stop until there is essentially a complete ban on all firearms. Even then measures will likely continue to ban self defense products like tasers and mace.

if manufacturers respond in that way we could respond accordingly with legislation, for example.

Im not a Sanders supporter, but you need to diversify companies that are part of the economic foundation.

Lets say, for the sake of argument, there are four banks that primarily make up the banking lending system in the US. If one of those banks fails its going to have a tremendous negative financial impact on the nation. If, however, it were made up of 100 different banking companies and one failed it would barely even be noticed.

Its the same logic as why as a trust company you can be held financially liable for not diversifying stocks that are held in a trust, in certain circumstances.
