I don't give a rat's ass what you did. I graduated college magna cum laude, I'm getting work experience and working on certifications, and eventually I'm going back for a master's. So f***ing what? Taking personal responsibility is a trait of adulthood; we're in agreement there. But so is seeing the world as it is, and not as a fairy land where everyone gets what they want as long as they work for it, and the only ones who fail fail because it's their fault. Seeing only what you want to see in the world is every bit as childish as neglecting personal responsibility, and if that just doesn't sit well with you, then the discussion ends here.

The whole point of this topic is that it's a very childish and pathetic behavior typical of CEmen to put the blame on TEH SEHSTUM when the onus is entirely on you. I put away times for trivialities to focus on getting a handle on my life back when I was in school. Now that I'm financially stable I can afford more luxuries like the occasional internet romp (though comparing active posts I still clearly do it less than you). Like, do you honestly think he wants to be making a s*** wage with his degree? I asked him why he was even there at all, and he told me that this is what he could find with his level of experience. The postings for jobs that paid living wages in the field did not just require degrees; they asked for several years of relevant experience. Well, what do you do to get relevant experience? You take the best related job you're qualified for. For someone with no relevant experience, this was it.

In the world where rather than making connections and interning during college they spent their days playing a party game competitively.
And that's just how it is. This shit wage is clearly the most "he's" qualified for since he hasn't built up his resume beforehand. That's on him.

You've admitted you work an extremely low paying job and still live with your parents. That's not a great deal better my friend.

As do many others, and typically not by choice. For just one example, I'm working with someone with a master's degree in the field we're working in who makes the same wage that I make and who also lives with his parents. He's older and more experienced, too.

Blaming their own flaws on everyone else is also a typical trait of a CEman. Maybe that "someone" would get a better wage if he actually applied himself and didn't aim for the bare minimum and then think his entitled ass isn't there by choice but by society's structure.
