I've undergone an amazing physical metamorphosis over the past three years where I've gone from a well-defined and lean build to something that I can only describe as a fusion between Khal Drogo and Roman Reigns. It kind of aligns well, since my life has been full of many interesting events over the previous five years that I can only assume this is my natural form that was destined by way of confronting many harrowing situations with absolute courage.

It makes sense when you look through history and see those that tended to be in positions of authoritarian power were often brittle-boned and weak while the soldiers were hulking behemoths that would wrestle tigers for territorial supremacy if need be. Fast forward to today and you can see this trend repeat with many millens. They sit, shacked up, barely moving and letting their servants/mother do all the work while true warriors like myself press on and have the physique to prove it.

I was 6'1 but when I went to my check-up earlier this year my doctor looked on in astonishment and saw that my height has actually increased to 6'3. He claims that it may have been a final growth spurt which while extremely rare is typical of someone of my genetic background which makes sense. Coupled with my hairline which has refused to move since I was born, I can only conclude that contrary to the beta male theories that too much testosterone is bad, it has actually enhanced me.

It's pretty laughable how easy people are swindled by doctors these days, especially ones that aren't of any real repute.

If you're to believe every person born after 1980 has the anxiety they think they do, then it must be the greatest phenomenon known to mankind. Like all at once, the millennials had some collective freak-out via a psychic link and got extreme anxiety.

Reality is, they're just undergoing normal shit like stress or sadness or nervousness. But what do their hack doctors say? Go to a psychologist (biggest con artists since chiropractors), maybe a psychiatrist, get prescribed awful anti-depressants or benzos that will fuck you up in the long run.

When some kid in college has a presentation and they're feeling nervous, guess what? That's normal. When you need to pop two Xanax to get through it? That's how you get the flawed generation now.

In the future I'm not bothering to jeopardize my health and livelihood by listening to any kiddo that becomes a doctor. I'll always try my best to find someone born prior to 1980, ideally around the 1960s or early 70s range. This current crop is going to solve problems by turning people into drug-fueled zombies.

No, it was quite a legitimate question. Complaining about any game that's not completely linear and not rushing you through its main story vs its exploration. What next, bitching about games that have a segregation between story and gameplay? lol. It's just a completely half-assed complaint that, yes, makes me think you're very new to video games. Oh please, you don't even grasp the most important aspect of an RPG which is its narrative/story-telling. Like it or not, it is shitty story-telling to have someone you're supposed to stop wreaking havoc but you never feel that impact or inclination to go stop them. The set-up of the story is presented in a way that lends itself to being on a linear path -unless- you make a plausible reason for the characters to go about doing side missions. Instead you're more or less tossed into being a pirate because why not and go about totally forgetting about Eothas so you can get involved in the political situations. It would have been way better from a narrative standpoint if the entire game was about the various factions and cultures to align with and try to make prosper. The whole Eothas angle is underwhelming and dull, then again the writing in this game reeks so much of "too many cooks in the kitchen" I guess a half-baked plot is to be expected.

But at least you're having fun with YARRR matey CYOAs and 16 crew fights after the game tells you that you've eliminated ten of them already. :^)

And yes, romance in games is only ever done 'okay' if it fits into the story with an established character you take control of. In these sorts of IE-lite games, it is always some weirdo fantasy that is written with all the maturity of baby's first sex-ed class.

If you're going to do a story with trying to confront a god that's running wild like Hulkamania, don't also make that same game involve you able to dick around with side content for hours upon hours. It merely makes the main quest a forgettable affair, you don't have the shadow of a huge threat constantly looming over you. A majority of the NPCs don't even give a shit. It's a mess.

Multiclassing is fun, the combat right now needs to be played on POTD so you can actually find some semblance of challenge. Everything below it is laughably easy. I wonder if the "story mode" difficulty cuts fights out completely due to how you can let your guys just auto attack shit to victory. There's a huge lack of threatening monsters too. You don't get mindflayers or level draining vampires or any of that. They're pretty lame.

The items are much better this time around, though. Especially compared to PoE1. Companions are all shit, the best ones from PoE1 (Durance and Grieving Mother) are not in the game but that's understandable since Chris Avellone left Obsidian.

Voice acting adds nothing for me, especially that awful narrator. Christ, she's terrible.

The game should've focused more on the political/social struggles of the various tribes/villages you go to and it should have had a new protagonist period.

- The plotline is an excuse to begin with, and Doomguy is not iconic enough for most people to actually care about.
- Nothing says she is replacing him. Doom is more about killing demon's than it is about any one character. She could just be another marine.
- No one gave a shit when The Rock was the title lead, despite the fact that The Rock absolutely nothing like Doomguy.

The Rock, shit, I'd love The Rock to play as Doomguy again and give the role proper justice with a director that understands what Doom is and isn't cashing in on the name. He'd look like a badass, doing badass things and has the physical charisma to make it awesome.

Doomguy isn't iconic for you to care about, but to those of us that installed that shit on a floppy he's a fond memory of when gaming wasn't infested and afflicted with numales like yourself who want to champion every single thing with this annoying push for some social agenda.

Doom is about killing demons, ding-ding, now take your grrl power garbage back to Spice World and let's see some brawny badass punch a Baron of Hell's face off with his power gauntlet.

How can you call people fragile when you're happy that a gaming icon is being defaced for some idiotic social agenda that simply doesn't work for the Doom universe?

For a female lead to work (and the only 'lead' in Doom's universe is the fucking Doomguy, but you'd know that if you actually played video games pre-2010) they'd have to sissify the shit out of Doom. If you're going to do a Doom movie, it should be an absolute violent spectacle. It needs blood, guts, guns, BFGs, demons and a masculine, mean looking motherfucker as lead to drive it all home. It should be nothing but action and a glorious display of it.

It's why the previous Doom movie sucked and why this one probably will too. If we can all admit the Doomguy isn't a 'serious literary character' then Doom's story is simply a backdrop in which we can witness demonic carnage for an hour and a half with a fulfilling, mindblasting conclusion. Diggit?

Nobody is saying Doomguy is some 'serious literary character', it's that with Doom, you know the FPS game that has been the inspiration for hundreds of others, I think the imagery of the Doomguy fighting off demons on the cover and having his face used as the health bar means something to real gamers.

And as such, the Doomguy becoming a girl is lolworthy. Especially when you had the highly successful Doom 2016 game have the Doomguy come back, front and center, ripping shit up with a testosterone fueled rage that only a real rugged badass could achieve.

What's the girl going to do? Shoot a hundred 'worried, but still pretty' expressions and look 'fierce' when fighting a really shitty looking CGI monster? Fuckin' lol. Tell her to go do Bloodrayne or some shit.
