This is one of those things that doesn't effect me in the slightest, yet still hurts for the nostalgia factor.. like Nintendo Power ending, and Saturday morning cartoons disappearing. Or to a lesser extent, Blockbuster Video and Hollywood Video going out of business (My first retail job was Hollywood Video in 2003)

I work data entry, so I stream a lot of music and podcasts during the day, so, kinda need unlimited data for that.

I wonder if the customers were rude. I can't normally see most employees caring enough about what a customer returns, but if the customer is an ass, I can see an employee deciding it's time to enforce the discretionary part of that policy.

When I worked returns at Target, it's amazing how many loopholes I forgot if someone acted like a dick.

Except Casey Hudson was directly responsible for the end of ME3, so if anything I see him more as "part of the problem" than I do "part of a potential cure".

BioWare is pretty much stone cold fucked at this point. There's a reason why almost every story we hear coming out of the studio these days is a negative one.

I personally didn't mind the end of ME3 that much (at least the choices presented). Once they patched in the new endings with more content, I was fine, and the Citadel DLC was great. Anywho, Anthem actually looks pretty fun, so I'm not exactly screaming "The sky is falling!" Anywho, no matter what you thought of the end of ME3... he still worked on KotOR, Jade Empire, and the Mass Effect trilogy as a whole, so, that's a pretty solid resume.

I have always wondered why the US tries to treat "Hispanics" as some sort of disadvantaged minority, when they descend from white European colonizers, just like most of the "white" people do.

Part of it has to do with the founding colonizers, etc. There was never a rigid hierarchy in the English controlled like the Spanish ones. Also, the U.S. won their independence pretty much at he height of British power. The colonies were fairly wealthy and had little meddling from England until after the 7 Years War. The Spanish ones pretty much rebelled as the Spanish Empire was collapsing and weren't really as competitively wealthy or resource rich as in the U.S.

The Spanish Empire was the OG New World imperialist, but when they empire collapsed... it collapsed hard.

There are TONS of really talented, unknown/lesser guys and gals out there too. Keep an eye out for Ryan Hicks (Bill Hicks' nephew), Taylor Tomlinson (she was on Last Comic Standing and is insanely good for her age) and Zoltan Kaszas to name a few.

If I could get them to leave without shooting them, that's preferable. I'd only do that as an absolute last resort.

They certainly are bringing some money back to it. I know gal getting paid like, $30,000 for 15 minutes on Netflix.

The quality of stand up these days is overall better than years prior. After the crash of the late 80s/early 90s, the hack guys washed out, and the people left were ones that LOVE the craft. You kinda have to now, because the money ain't all that great anymore for most comics.

Only the most hard core of the hard core are going for totally banning guns. Most folks are just asking for more extensive background checks and waiting periods on guns to weed out things like, you know, fucking psycho teenagers just buying everything they need to shoot up a school, no questions asked.

Yeah, that game, despite its limitations, is still way better than most of their post-OG Xbox releases. I liked the ME trilogy, even 3 (despite the shitty ending), but that and DAO are literally the only good games they've made since then. They fucking suck now.

I don't keep track of the teams but are the original writers from yay back still with Bioware or they simply succumbed overtime?

A lot of 'em are gone, particularly the lead writers like Drew Karpyshyn and David Gaider.

Actually, I believe Drew Karpyshyn re-joined Bioware and is now working on Anthem.

Plus Casey Hudson is back, so this COULD be an upswing for Bioware.

I sometimes forget that there are Witcher games prior to the third one.

I (almost) never see the other two mentioned.

Witcher 2 is really good, but 3 crushes it. It's everything a sequel should be.
