Otherwise what exactly happens? You spend 8 hours while accomplishing nothing which, by the way, is one reason why the US has been discouraged from taking the meeting because NK critics worry that we're going to be raising KJU's standing in the eyes of the world while getting nothing for it. And all along critics and pundits have suggested that KJU isn't actually serious (although some are likely just saying that to cut off Trump's nuts for agreeing to the meeting -- which is why a few outlets backtracked when the meeting was off and used it to attack Trump) Kyuubi4269 posted... Literally how all business works. Both have toys the other wants, if they're told they can't have the other one's toy then they don't share theirs. That is how business works on a very basic level, sure. But adults know how to negotiate. While it's good to have convictions and have expectations and even demands, adults understand conversations and negotiations are a back-and-forth, give-and-take process. If you head into a meeting with a closed mind and won't even consider listening to what the other party has to offer, then you're a fucking moron and a manbaby. Maybe they won't completely kowtow to your demands, but you may be able to reach some compromise that works for both parties. Can't reach a compromise if you're not willing to listen in the first place. And yes, sometimes negotiations end in a stalemate. But at least if you're willing to listen to the other party, you can come away from the meeting knowing they're expectations and go back to the drawing board to see if something can be done to rework the deal. Or you can figure out if their demands are simply beyond being reasonable and you can say to them "We're not willing to re-enter negotiations until you back down on such-and-such. My point is, adults know how to handle situations like this. Manchildren, like Trump, huff and puff and stick their fingers in their ears and won't listen to anything that isn't the other party sucking their dick. Which is stupid, and counter-productive. Shouldn't be much of an issue, but I don't know how it got compromised in the first place. Last thing I bought with it was pizza last night. I always teach my kids not to approach dogs without asking permission/if the dog is friendly from the dog's owner. Every time we're out on a walk and someone has a dog, I use that moment to drill that point home. As long as developers are creating new engines, testing new ideas, creating assets, messing with physics and gameplay ideas, etc etc - there will always be games with rough launches. Mechanically I thought Andromeda was okay after the first planet or two, but the game became a slog as I explored further and realized how little fresh content it had to offer beyond that point. Agree with this. Game became very redundant and methodical to me. You fight the same three enemies through the whole game, with an occasional curveball like a Hydra thrown in here and there. Having a Nomad that can go fast or climb hills, but not both at the same time, got annoying. Especially when you factor in that you can upgrade the vehicle. You have ships capable of incredible space travel, but you can't figure out how to get speed + terrain scaling to work in tandem? "We want you to explore these strange and beautiful vistas, but we're going to hamstring your ability to do so for no good reason whatsoever." Also agree that there were few likeable characters. None were all that unlikeable, but most of them were boring and uninteresting. Pushed myself to finish it, but was ready for it to end about 60% through the game. Found myself dreading having to go back to a planet I'd already explored to clean up sidequests or whatever. I did like fiddling with the skill tree, and that character resets were available for a small cost. Made playing with builds fun, but making a build is pretty much pointless because the game isn't all that challenging. Should be noted that I played on "Normal", though.
