Almas vs. Sin Cara was actually one of the best matches of the night. Almas dominated most of the time, and of course he's just a star. Even when he's just dominating the opponent like a heel does, it's kinda entertaining. But Sin Cara got some offense in upon getting hot at one point, and Hunico pulled off all the lucha spots pretty damn good. Almas won obviously. Sin Cara actually pinned Almas at one point but Vega distracted the ref before the pin started. She's a fantastic heel manager. Almas is the kind of guy you want to be, and you love to hate him. He's got a beautiful woman managing him, he carries himself with class, he's built, he's good in the ring, and he's a douche. Great character.

Almas and Vega are awesome, and its great to hear Sin Camacho's (Yes, he is Hunico, but he is Without Camacho!) still shining despite his placement and lack of presence. I still get wowed by his surprising strength in some of the Lucha Dragon matches, and remember doing a few double takes when I read Sin Cara and Konnor/Viktor had like a top 50 match of 2016? 2017? during a house show.

Only had one Starfruit seed for my first Summer, and despite like ten lightning rods, it was the one crop that got destroyed. Got a Prismatic out of my Omnis yesterday and I grabbed a Galaxy Sword; hopefully I can get enough Iridium to upgrade my tools soon (everything went to ten sprinklers, two of which I haven't used yet, derp). I also think I found my last Lost Book fishing? Unless there's one or two more I didn't see empty spots for.

Now that my farm's going to be pretty steady going, I might go in to the social part of the game. I get so easily bored making money, lol.

43. Beat another user's favorite game

Final Fantasy X

- Wow, finally. First Final Fantasy game I've ever completed. And I needed to step away for a few months to do so (see: Trails the 3rd). My brain's not awake so I'm likely not going to do this write-up any justice.

Biggest Surprises:
- Just how gooood the combat system is. Every character you have serves some important role in combat and the enemies for the most part need even minor strategy to beat. Flan's require magic, hedgehogs require pierce, ahrimans need blitzballs to the face, some monsters have on-death attacks so you need to make sure you're buffed and healed.

Between the Sphere Grid and the Weapon/Armor slots, it could really begin to feel like FFVII Materia where combat roles are pretty much interchangeable, but throughout everyone fit their starting niche and expanded in really cool and fluid ways. Probably my favorite RPG combat system in recent memory.

The characters, overall, were really well done with a lot of low-key moments influencing who they are at their core and how their journey is helping them grow. I'm disappointed that Kimahri didn't get much more, but everyone else was solid especially Tidus, Yuna, and Wakka. The world building in this game was fantastic too.

The final battles felt easier than expected mostly thanks to Doublecast and LowHP Auron dealing 30000 a blow (I may have overlevelled some trying to beef up for Dark Aeons, before ultimately giving up and shelving the game for a while), but I'l be damned if those Behemoth Kings and petrification dragons didn't ruin my day multiple times.

There is still a lot left I want to do someday (get Anima, find the Jecht Spheres, fill up the captured monsters, upgrade all the legendary weapons, definitely NOT fight the hour-long super boss battle), but I'm not obsessing over it like I was before. Excellent game and I can see why it's another user's favorite.

17. Beat a first-person shooter

Star Wars Battlefront II (2005)

- Got it off the recent Star Wars sale pretty much just for this category. I used to love playing it at the house I babysat at, and me and the kid would spend hours trying to take each other's battlefields. He was a great sniper so places like Kashyyyk were tough to conquer or defend. I love playing the engie and making sure things are working and blasting people with shotguns (and being cheap and continually throwing myself health refills).

Beat the story mode pretty quickly. I had some trouble with a few of the stages, but nothing a better strategy didn't fix in most cases. And just because, I also beat Galactic Conquest because that's awesome.

47. Play a technically unbeatable game for at least six hours

Heroes of the Storm

- Forgot about this category completely, but just saw it while filling things out. Thanks to the Lucha event and Shad, I got back in after a five month hiatus and am enjoying Nazeebo, Blaze, and the random Brawl characters immensely.

West of Loathing

- Thanks to Steam's Spring Cleaning event, I reinstalled a game I put off last year (I think because I ran out of shovels and wanted to dig up every.single.damn.cemetery.plot) and started playing again.

Turns out I could've beaten it in about five more minutes. I still goofed off and spent about an hour or two running around finishing Breadwood sidequests not realizing I was literally ten minutes from the credits (and about 775 plots left to dig up when I no longer worried so much about every.single.sidequest). This is why I quit endgames and leave them hanging. I come back and finish the game because my compulsive need to do everything is long past.

Now if only I could finish a game I actually started since my last game. *stares at KotOR, Stardew Valley, LEGO Lord of the Rings, Trails of Cold Steel, and various other recently purchased games*

Update looked fun, I'll recount mine.

After reading about some other aspects of the Beta, particularly the one where the bachelors and bachelorettes with will confront you for playing games with their hearts, I decided to push through the last half of fall and get the last seven people I needed to ten hearts (Alex, Sam, Abigail, Sebastian, Sandy, Kent, and Emily), then married Abigail and her diamond-digesting stomach. Even without replanting the fall crops or doing much fishing/mining except for quests, I was still pulling in tons of money from greenhouse strawberries and iridium animal products. Blazed through two weeks and now... am reluctant to continue because my other game is going much better (despite going much slower and more deliberate with my use of time).

Where before I would hoard all sorts of things for gifts, I'm now putting most of the non-building stuff into the bin and profiting. I have six furnaces at the moment which fits the amount of mining I've done lately (not much), and just crafted about 15 preserves jars for blueberries and later cranberries. Some of my oak trees have grown and started producing resin. I also dropped 36000 on repairing the bus, 5000 to go. Going to make another run after I get more gold star corn in a few days and complete the bundle then. I make bank on rainy days catching catfish in the secret pond.

Thanks to watching Ermine and FD, I feel much more confident in organizing my farm. Chests outside instead of inside; not to be shy about making lots of furnaces, taps, lightning rods, and sprinklers so I'll always be producing somewhere; efficiency of movement and time management. Starting in fall, I hope to get a Coop up and running. Don't know where I want to put it yet.

That's pretty much it for now. Summer's going to be about making money for the next few bits to fund cranberry season, and I look very forward to getting a kitchen and start checking off those recipes. It's hard not hoarding...

Thew Star-Lord/Ego plot is the center of the movie, sure, but the Yondu, Rocket, Nebula/Gamora plots, and a good helping of Mantis (and the quiet moments from Drax) are more than solid. The only one who gets zero development is Groot who... ,,,,......... ... oh.... oh god... He's... oh god....

Groot is Michelle Tanner. Rocket, Star-Lord, and Drax? Yondu? are his three daddies. Gamora is DJ. Nebula is Stephanie. Mantis is Kimmy Gibbler.

that farm layout is triggering me so much. clearing off all the rocks, trees, extra grass is always one of the first things I do, so seeing your farm with additional stuff like the coop, silo, and barn yet having 80% of the space still filled with overgrowth is very disturbing to my own personal sense of taste.

Different file. All carts on the new one have been terrible, but farm feels a lot better on the new file. The crops are coming in mostly at once instead of every day random potatoes, catching catfish has been very rewarding (yay rain!), and I didn't make some awful pathing that angered me.

Also, spoiler warning: I totally stole your spring designs =P. Chests outside instead of inside, furnaces outside instead of inside and more than a mere three (even into Fall Year 2, I only have 3 furnaces), tapper trees controlled at the bottom instead of along random growths by my greenhouse, only fruit trees are a big difference... I AM A THIEF!!! ;_;

I do feel Roman has improved but he's taken on some bad habits that mask the fact that he has. Spamming the shit out of the Superman Punch is probably more of a net negative than all of his other improvements are a positive.

It is kinda true though he does have a lot more similarities to Triple H than I'd realized.

Also, while he doesn't talk much in his promos like The Game does, they still seem to last the same interminable length of time.

The trick is that they have a LOT of 'best in-ring performers'.

The Miz's skillset is much more rare which makes him much closer to being company MVP than a lot of people realize.

He is one of the only actually Great performers WWE has. Only Cena, Styles, Bryan and ARGUABLY MAYBE Owens are there with him. (Braun has the character thing down but still has a lot of limitations and if the WWE isn't careful he will get super exposed.) Rollins only feels super hot right now because he is coming off a feud with The Miz.

Give it time, Rollins will feud with other 'best in-ring performer' Finn Balor and be right back where he started and The Miz will still be the same.

Another thing that shines about Miz is that he expertly threads that edge of metatext influencing everything, and uses and embraces both history and off-brand reality to fuel stories better than pretty much everyone. He sells match-ups, not only for himself but for others with MizTV segments or on commentary. Everything Miz says is based on or embellishes or warps a kernel of truth where... you don't feel duped or stupid when he says things because his timeline of events matches up with our own. There's no giant suspensions of disbelief (like Roman is suddenly not 'Vince's boy' or Cena won't have a match at WrestleMania or Jinder Mahal). His Smackdown feud with Dolph Ziggler shined a light on the Show-Off and who he was and what he's done and all the stops and starts and it made you care about Dolph more than anything in five years (except Survivor series which was never, ever followed up on for some reason). Everything with Daniel Bryan has been there since day one. His feud last year with John Cena was full of connecting dots and melding so many different aspects and funhouse mirror images of the characters.

John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, and AJ Styles all have similar strength in keeping their own and their opponents' histories aligned with what we know and what we've seen; CM Punk delivered this in spades before AND after the famous Pipebomb (hi Jeff Hardy); The Usos have been so hot this past year in part because of their ability to translate reality into storytelling. The Mark Henry retirement promo.

Funny thing is back when Triple H used to be that plodding guy who sponged way more TV time than he was worth that was cool to hate on, I didn't really hate on him all that much, because he's never really been offensively awful at any moment. He's just soured on me more and more as time has gone on. WWE's propaganda machine trying to shove it down our throats how great he is probably did a lot of the work on this too.

Also hurts that as time has gone on I can't get into any match he's in. It almost always boils down to one of two scenarios. 1. Triple H takes 90% of the match and wins. His offense is plodding and it's a snooze to watch. 2. Triple H gets beat up 90% of the match and wins. He's poor at eliciting sympathy through his mannerisms, and he generally wins by just hitting the Pedigree out of nowhere, which is annoying as hell because it's not a move that has shock factor and requires and an elaborate setup, and he was being beat up 90% of the match.

This explains so much... about Roman Reigns. He's not John Cena, he's Triple H.
