- Two women getting into a fist fight over the last Pikachu plushie.

- Guy tweaking on crystal meth and getting dogpiled by 7 or 8 cops.

- Diabetic girl whose blood sugar bottomed out and she first sat on a case of Eggos, then just boom, slid onto the floor.

- Employee who hadn't taken her epilepsy medicine for like a week having a grand mal seizure.

- Drunk kids trying to drive the electric carts down the street to their apartment complex. "We were gonna bring 'em back!"

- Guy arrested for shoplifting, cuffed and escorted to the cop car, shouldered the cop off when he was being put in the back, and ran across the parking lot plus up a steep hill with his hands cuffed behind him. Might have gotten away if he hadn't had to stop to step over the guard rail, but he did and the cop grabbed him by the waistband, yanked, and dude tumbled backwards all the way down the hill.

True, like Robert Plant at the Celebration Day concert, since he can't hit the high notes anymore AKD his voice has gotten weaker with age. Or like James Hetfield, who recorded Death Magnetic and Hardwired at A440, but is doing the songs live a half-step down.

I heard about this guy years ago. I mean, if you're reading this you know how to read (obviously), and most of us here, someone taught us how, or at the worst, you taught yourself. But this guy is from the 'bootstraps' generation, and for him to admit that he didn't know how to read would have been borderline impossible.

It's not in this article, but I remember in the piece I read, when he went to the librarian and told her he couldn't read, he just broke down in tears admitting that to a stranger.

I'm not embarassed by any shirts I own. Hell, I bought them. I don't own many gaming shirts, but among others, I have:

Carol Corps (Captain Marvel)
Finn & Flame Princess (Adventure Time)
Black Panther (Loot Crate)
kawaii Revenant (The Secret World; sadly, it's just a little too small across shoulders)
"Some Chicks Marry Chicks" shirt
Robot Chicken Star Wars shirt (another too small)

The only thing I'll say is that I've gotten used to wearing Hanes t's at work, and I've come to greatly prefer that kind of cotton. It's a very smooth, soft weave, and a lot of these others aren't, I'm guessing because it's too expensive or doesn't hold decoration well.

See, this is the thing about alts I've never been able to understand: how do people not 'disguise' themselves when they're posting as alts? I have a grand total of one alt, and I honestly don't think anyone knows we're the same poster. I almost never post on the same boards, I use different syntax and grammar as 'them'. Do other people really just not bother to change their writing style or claim different opinions?

I never watched the show beyond catching a show when it first aired. Repeats are coming on a channel now - is it worth watching? Some of the stories/plots seem interesting (I like high fantasy) but some of special effects/choreography looks almost on par w/ Power Rangers

If you go into it expecting Game of Thrones production values, you'll be sorely disappointed, but it and Hercules were both enjoyable shows. Just remember that they're done very much in the low-budget, slightly campy vein of the old Evil Dead films and you'll be okay.
