This country needs a direct democracy facelift in general, I'll say it until I'm blue in the face.

A vast majority of summits don't accomplish much.

And I wasn't expecting much to be accomplished here. Again, if "nothing" had been accomplished, I would have been satisfied. As I mentioned at the start of my post, the summit being a waste of time would have been an improvement over it actually was: Donald Trump selling the farm for a bag of magic beans.

It is. I'm not objecting to that.

Honestly, if there's one thing that I think Trump got correct it's that leader-to-leader dialogue with North Korea is a good idea. I will give him credit for that.

The talking part is not what I'm objecting to. It's what the talking led to that's looking like an unfolding disaster.

We're not, but North Korea sure as hell will.

China's lifting their sanctions and is almost assuredly not going to be enforcing any of the ones imposed by the US (which they've explicitly credited to the summit and its results). The US is stopping their joint military exercises and, assuming Trump follows through on his pledge, reducing their troop presence. Those, plus the PR boost, are immediate wins for the world's most brutal regime.

Meanwhile, the US gets a handshake and a promise from a regime that has a long, long history of breaking similar promises.

This doesn't sound like the winning deal Donald Trump keeps insisting that he's the master of.

All of those you listed are good things.

How is this even a contest? The game looks amazing, it feels amazing, great trailer that shows that they truly GET the Cyberpunk tabletop game.

It's an First Person RPG, lots of shooting but mostly RPG. You get to create a character. You get to drive the car in the non-linear open world. You get to choose your augments (Eat it, Deus Ex) and that greatly affects the way you play.

Allow me to justify that last one by saying Ubisoft Singapore is seriously the most talented division of Ubisoft. They are the entire reason why Assassin's Creed 4 was good.

We literally know nothing about it. We have every reason to believe it will be built from the ground up for microtransactions.

The first time I saw Dune I thought that they were talking about two drug lords and their families fighting over who gets to sell and/or distribute drugs (spice) throughout the galaxy to those with the money to buy it. I've seen both the movie version and the miniseries Dune and it still makes me think of two drug lords and their families fighting over who gets to sell and/or distribute drugs to whoever will buy them.

I do. The first movie was GOOD but it really took a hacksaw to the book.

It's quickly becoming public knowledge that Denis Villeneuve is amazing, and he's set to direct the new Dune movies.

After Dune goes mainstream, there's going to be at least one headline that's like:

"It's Star Wars meets A Game Of Thrones"
