Because instead of opening up with an invitation for a discussion, you opened up with this:

Then proceeded to ramble when I explained my views.

You gave me every reason not to discuss it with you.

like it's fine to hate the character. but I think it's immature to think of a character as "bad" because he's a pedophile. you gotta have more reasons than that. not saying that's what you're doing, either.

I acknowledge the last sentence, but I'm still gonna respond to this. I'm not saying he's a bad character. I'm saying I hate him and not in the "fun to hate" sort of way that most villains fall under.

Hence the reason I'm not bringing up the other stuff he does because if I was judging him as a real person, I would've. Which baffles me - someone accuses me of doing something, and then immediately points out that I'm not doing it.

EDIT: Also you should put a spoiler tag on that bit.

Meth and heroin are absolutely horrendous for you. I've seen cases in-person of people who had their lives entirely ruined by it. Putting them in the same breath as alcohol or weed is both ignorant and dangerous.

I think it's weird to imply here that the average person doesn't see way more cases of people whose lives have been ruined by alcohol.

Like I don't think any of us are going to have a representative sample from anecdotal experience but still, alcohol can definitely really easily ruin someone's life.

Not at the rate meth and heroin do, though.

Anything can ruin someone's life if they get addicted to it. Doesn't mean it's meth or heroin.

I disagree that it's just played for laughs, it's an important part of his character.

You can have a problem with that aspect but to tear the whole thing down is extremely shallow.

Tell me where I said it's just played for laughs.

Because I never said that.

I said that I hate that it is played for laughs. At all.

Also, rambling noted. For some reason, you're stanning for this character. I hate him for something, and the fact that it's important to his character doesn't suddenly redeem that something - if anything, that is why I hate him in the first place.

Deal with it, because I'm not gonna justify my opinions to someone who can't seem to handle them.

Get his business. Then slowly start cutting his meth over time until you're pretty much just giving him crystallized sugar and it's all profit. And he'll be off the drug.

Lamenting about how people are too PC to laugh at your jokes just tells me that you're a stale comedian who can't adapt with the times.

I think part of the problem with *any* restaurant review can be summed up as "My experiences with local Subway has tainted my opinion of the franchise."

Individual stores can have bad vegetables and such due to bad management, and I imagine where they get their produce can contribute to that (especially distance-wise).

As for not baking in-store, I doubt that. Every single Subway I've been into has ovens where they bake their bread. The only difference is, the dough comes in from the outside, ready-to-bake they don't make the dough there themselves.

That being said, they might be letting the bread get a bit more stale than they should, and that might be what people are thinking about.

Anecdote here, slightly off the subject - I used to love going to pizza hut. Their pizzas were flavorful, crusts were fantastic, selections were amazing, and the dine-in experience was fantastic.
Then Applebees moved to a new location, and Pizza Hut got dragged along with them... and ended up with a much smaller location with much less staff. The pizza turned flavorless, the dine-in experience was practically non-existent... the food went to shit.

Apparently, Applebee's went to shit after they moved, too. We haven't been to the new location, just going by hearsay.

So basically - your dining experience at any franchise is likely dependent on the restaurant itself. Subway can be shit in one place, and a dining delight in another location.

Fact:

Republicans keep wanting to introduce additional hoops for voters to jump through in order to vote even though voter fraud is at an all time low. This alone should be a red flag.

And just to put it into perspective, my mother couldn't get that handy little sticker on her driver's license because her birth certificate didn't have the right indentations on it. The same birth certificate she used to join the navy is not valid for a "Real ID" that satisfies all the hoops Republicans have introduced to prove who she is. Thankfully, our city doesn't require it to vote, but if they ever did, Mom, a veteran who served our country, wouldn't be allowed to vote.

Of course, Republicans consider the all-time high of 0.01% food stamp fraud worthy over screwing thousands of people over by introducing stricter standards to food stamps that make it harder for *everyone* on the program to get what they need in order to *live*, but it's obvious to anyone who hasn't drunk the kool-aid just how much Republicans hate the poor.

And that's pretty much why the poor tend to prefer voting Democrat as long as they're paying attention - they know who hates the poor, and who at least pretends to like the poor in order to get votes.
