Colt's and Armalite's patents have expired and many different companies are making rifles and parts for all different purposes. Some examples are hunting, competition, and precision shooting. So, I am making this topic for people to ask me any questions retaining to the mechanics, uses, or laws So, who am I and why the fuck would you ask me questions about firearms? I am not quite an "expert" but I am very knowledgeable about firearms. I grew up hunting and have been around firearms my whole life. I was in the Marine Corps. I am currently working on a degree in Gunsmithing. I have built four custom rIfels, three bolt actions and one AR. By built I mean I did the machining on them, not that I slapped some parts together. I have multiple Armorer certifications including: Full auto AR15/M16, full auto AK47/M/74, PKM, and AR10, and I will be doing a M&P course on Tuesday. I am also an extremely armature USPSA shooter Any firearms related questions anyone may have please ask the here. If I do not know the answer to a question I will let you know. Not to mention there is gap between the dust cover and the receiver. In the video, they cleaned the gun off first to get it to work.
