Cracked also did this all the time from what I remember. Phrases that are blatantly used as a familiar manner of speaking have their "I" replaced with "we" and "me" replaced with "us" systematically even if it doesn't make sense as an expression anymore

Is it because the editors ran a train over the article so it can't be described as one person's opinion any more? Or some sort of journalism policy?

Like sometimes they'll say something like "Go ahead and name something better than x. We'll wait." Sounds so weird. What an annoying practice.

Started a game as a demon hunter with my friend as a sorceress. I figured all the mobility would be fun.

Half my skills are variations of the same AOE slow projectile, and somehow my friend is literally face tanking everything. AS A SORCERESS. ON EXPERT. Where's the nuance in our play that's supposed to make us win by being better? Aren't you supposed to kite enemies as squishy ranged characters if you don't have a tank?
