TopicHonest query: Are people who call ICE on undocumented citizens bad people?

My answer was "Maybe" but that's because it's dependent on the case. I do believe that illegal immigrants shouldn't be here as they do get in the way of those who want to immigrate legally getting in in a timely manner, but for those who call ICE on illegal immigrants it'd be case by case. If the illegal immigrants were known to cause problems in the neighborhood or city, perhaps even be known to be participating in a crime, then always no, the caller is not bad. If they have something against them and the illegal immigrants are good people who try not to cause trouble, then yes, they're bad people, but they're not wrong. If it gets to the point that they're calling on well behaved illegal immigrants without any bad intentions from the caller, it gets into the ambiguous territory.

EDIT: I want to thank everyone who's actually giving meaningful and well thought out comments on this thread and keeping it civil, I don't care what side of the argument you stand on but it's discussions like this that help people grow and learn.

Maybe, if they were like good steel-toe workmans boots or military-grade boots.

Don't trust anything that says "Military Grade", military grade is lowest bidder and the quality of it sucks, it's mostly a buzzword to draw people in. (I'm in the military)

My opinion of over $100 shoes, I have 2 pairs of running shoes, 1 pair cost over $100, the other only cost about $20. I bought the good pair and broke them in for events or pt tests as they can actually help you save a lot of time over worn out shoes (I've tested myself and on the 2 mile run they can make over a 1 minute difference for me, I am not a PT stud), I use the cheap pair for my casual everyday life or training, as I'll replace them more frequently and can't guarantee that they'll be in good condition when I am getting tested. Other than that, for work boots I've spent over $100 on them, but that's also because I need them to do their job right, I can't afford to have my toes sliced off because they use cheap metal.

I tend to play melee classes, although I have no preference about which in particular. I've played a rogue before, so I could assassinate my enemies, I've played a fighter and barbarian and acted as the tank, and I've also played monk. In the campaigns I'm currently playing (d&d 3.5) I'm playing a Barbarian/Wizard Goliath in one (DM forced me to take Wizard, to get the aid of an old and powerful Wizard I had to become their apprentice). A swordsage/warblade Lizardman in another. A homebrew race called Draconian who's a Monk, and in the last campaign I'm currently playing (lots of homebrew in this one) I'm playing a half-ogre Witcher (yes, it is based on the Witcher series).

Knowing what I do now, yes I would have a problem, knowing what I did then? No, I would be all for it. I read a case where a guy was having sex with a woman in her twenties when he was 14 (statutory rape). When he was 24, he received a notice from the courts saying he owed thousands of dollars in child support for a child conceived as a result of that intercourse. It's messed up and can ruin a persons life.
