Sir, my opinion is that I don't feel it's safe to flip a coin and hope that eating raw meat won't harm me, and I wouldn't base my risk assessment on whatever sv3ridge does on YouTube; so I'd go for the vegetables. Does that answer meet the criteria of the topic?

Im one those guys who genuinely likes fat girls. Fat girls really hit all the right buttons for me, hard. Why? Well, thats a bit of a tricky question, because the libidos a tangled bunch of knots that you cant easily unpick with the simple word why?.

I can tell you what are not the reasons, though:

-- Its not because Im fat. Or ugly, awkward, or otherwise haplessly virginal. Im 148 lbs and 58, plus I guess sort of reasonably decent-looking from certain angles at the correct distance if the lightings right. (Yeah, yeah, false modesty.) And I think it'd be honest of me to say I've dated and mated with a fair few girls of various shapes and sizes during my time: enough to let me make up my own mind what my preferences are.

-- Its not because fat girls are supposed to be useful as cheap, compliant, disposable sex toys: good for practice or convenient as substitutes, if guys "don't mind lowering their standards" or some such dogshit. I dont want doormats. I want self-confident, sassy, savvy, sexually assertive fat girls.

-- Its not because of low standards or poor self-esteem. This isnt about me lowering the bar or making compromises; this is about about preference, about me liking what I like instead of maybe what you like. And what I like is the only standard that really matters, the only one Ive ever cared a crap about.

Yes, yes, I know guys aren't "supposed" to like fat chicks; but son, you can roll up that rulebook and ram it up your rectum until fucking chokes you. Turdwits yammering on about how I shouldn't like the women I like dont have a snowflakes chance in Hell of deprogramming my libido. Its the way Im wired, and the way I see it, an ability to appreciate females of all shapes and sizes is a generous dollop of good fortune its filled my world that much fuller with pleasures, temptations and opportunities.

Not at all. Killings under Soviet rule between 1944-53 were in the order of hundreds of thousands, possibly as many as a million, but they did not approach the several millions who died under Nazi rule.

Secondly, postwar plans drawn up by Wirtschaftstab Ost, the principal German economic planning agency for the East, envisaged an artificial famine: they dictated that no agricultural surplus should be transferred to the deficit areas -- the food-importing areas of the USSR -- outside the black-earth region of the south; instead, the population should be allowed to starve to death. In its own words, WiStab Osts plans anticipated the extinction of industry as well as a large percentage of the human beings in the hitherto deficit areas. That means tens of millions of people.

Well yes, that's exactly how you weigh up the lesser of two evils. The worst of Stalin's terror was over by 1942, whereas Hitler's was just getting started.

If it had been Stalin who committed suicide in 1945 and Hitler who died of a stroke in 1953 instead of the other way round, Europe and Asia would have witnessed a far more frightening death toll. We know this, because we know the Nazis were planning the deaths of tens of millions of people -- mainly Jews and Slavs -- in the event of a German victory, and because we know tens of millions of people did not die as a result of Soviet postwar occupation after 1945.

The singular monstrosity of Hitler's regime was such that it made the transformation of most of central, southern and eastern Europe into a huge communist prison camp a price worth paying to see it destroyed.

If Trump attacks Russian forces like he's been saying he will yes, that will cause WW3. Trump is too much of an imbecile to know what disaster that would cause.

Putin, at least, is probably shrewd enough to understand that containment is still very much in Russia's (as well as everyone else's) interest. Russian casualties in Syria won't be sufficient cause for him to punch the nuclear self-destruct button, just as CIA-funded deaths of thousands of Soviet soldiers in Afghanistan weren't seen by Moscow as sufficient cause for a nuclear exchange. It's risky, but I don't think anyone wants to see the world end over Syria.

I'll say this much, though: simply throwing money at a problem won't solve it. It's too easy to imagine that quoting a card number or signing a cheque means the job's done. I've never advocated charity or aid as a magic solution; it's a single piece of the jigsaw puzzle. But without money -- just as anywhere else in the world -- you can achieve fuck-all of nothing.

Mouthing meaningless platitudes about how people in poorer areas should "learn to grow on their own" isn't some miracle formula that cures poverty, though -- it's just an excuse for turning your back on it.

What the Democratic Republic of Congo needs to help lift its rural population out of poverty needs isn't a finger-wagging lecture about the need for poor people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, but massive investment in (among other things) transport infrastructure.

For example, the most widely eaten staple in DRC is cassava, but the big obstacle that farmers face to getting more money for their crop is that delivering it to urban markets is a race against time, because cassava starts to rot as soon as it's harvested -- which means a decent transportation system is essential to developing the rural economy. (The recently completed road between Kisangani and Bunia is eastern Congo shows that highway rehabilitation can pay big dividends, because cassava leaves harvested in the morning in Bandundu can now be sold and feed Kinshasa families that same evening.) Roads offer a better chance than finger-wagging.

I'd point out that local communities aren't hopeless, bottomless sinkholes for charity and aid. Again in the DRC, it was Nande traders in Butembo who combined their efforts to build and maintain the city's airport. But fuck knows how genuinely poor people are supposed to "grow on their own" and fund massive infrastructure projects when they lack access to credit to invest in seeds, pesticides or fertilisers, and they're deprived of secure title to land. It's not poor people who usually need lecturing -- it's the rich governing elites.
