Aged well:

DBZ Budokai 3 (still a fun and surprisingly deep fighting game)
Crash Team Racing (best kart racer ever IMO)
Super Mario Bros (still one of the greatest games ever)

Aged poorly:
Original Killzone (it's borderline unplayable)

The one that immediately springs to mind is back in 2009, I was in my first year of college. I asked this girl I like out to see Star Trek and the whole thing was just awkward. I had almost no experience with girls or dates at the time, and thinking back, I was probably pretty cringeworthy.

Nothing I did specifically stands out, but I'm sure she probably didn't enjoy the date. I was so awkward, I made no attempts at even acting like I was interested in her. We just kind of watched the movie together, like 2 people who barely know each other, and then left.

Last year I even would go to one friend's house every other Monday to drink and play videogames and then stay over. Until our schedules changed that is.

Does the showing start in 20 minutes or do the previews start in 20 minutes? Huge difference there, people usually start pouring in after the previews start.

Previews are going right now

The show time on the ticket says 12:05, its 11:50 right now

I bet you're still in the pre-previews. In my experience with theaters lately, they show prieviews up until the showtime, then at showtime you get another 30-40 minutes of previews.

Well if thats the case, fuck movie theaters

I wouldn't say it's that long. More like another 15-20 mins of previews tops. But yeah, generally the previews start at showtime, in my experience.

How? I played in 2016 during the initial craze, and then picked it back up briefly last year in late Summer. Quickly dropped it though because they didn't fix any of the major problems, despite the game being released for over a year.

- Still a massive battery drain.
- Still couldn't trade with other people.
- Still couldn't battle wild Pokemon.
- Still no training system for leveling up Pokemon.
- Still had a gym battle system consisting of just tapping the screen.
- Still had no special locations like pokemon centers or anything.
- Still had massive server issues.

And more.

Did they ever fix any of this?

Other than server issues, nothing you described is an actual problem. Hell, most of those aren't even valid complaints.

As for "special locations," they've always had gyms. And Pokecenters would be kind of a waste, given how readily available healing items are.

The boring and repetitive nature of the game is a huge problem, and the things I listed are things people have been asking for since day 1. Many of which should have been in the game at launch.

I had 2 girls offer to have a threesome with me several years ago back when I was in college. I just laughed it off because I thought they were joking. We were all good friends, so I figured they were just fucking with me. I found out later, after both of them had gotten boyfriends, that they were dead serious and both of them were disappointed that I didn't take them seriously.

I still mentally kick myself about this sometikes to this day.

It's over 50% on the 360 according to some sources:

https://consumerist.com/2009/08/17/xbox-360-failure-rate-is-542-percent-game-informer-finds/

https://www.google.ca/amp/s/gizmodo.com/5344302/microsoft-responds-to-542-xbox-360-failure-rate-claim-doesnt-dispute-it/amp

Which I honestly find believable with how rampant the issues seemed to be. I do not know a single person who owned a 360 who didn't not have it fail at least once.

I remember back in like 2006 or 2007, before most people had wifi, I used to go over to a friend's house to play yugioh very regularly. One day we were playing yugioh world championship 2007 or something on DS and we decided to drive to McDonald's to get food (my older brother was the only one who had a license). On the way, someone figured out that the neighbor down the street had unlocked wifi, so from that day on we would walk down the street and steal their wifi to play yugioh online while standing on the side of the road lol. It was so dumb in retrospect, but it was so fun at the time.

That's because most shows expect to continue longer than they do, leading to unresolved cliffhangers. Other shows go far longer than they should have (especially if they're planning as they go), so whatever result you get will be a letdown. The only time you might get a great ending is if a series was only planned to last so long and made it to that point.

Except for Seinfeld.

My first ever job was working in retail at a store where part of the job was checking receipts as people left. I was never told that this was voluntary. I would get yelled at / reprimand, and even got written up if I let anyone leave the store without checking their reciept. This job paid barely more than minimum wage. It was the absolute WORST job I've ever had. I felt like a piece of shit every time I approached a customer.

It was also bullshit because when I got hired it was advertised as a warehouse job. I did warehouse work about 20% of the time, I was checking receipts the other 80% of the time. No one wanted to fucking do that job.

Yes, I'd gladly kill it as long as I wouldn't need to do the butchering. At that point, it's just too much hassle. Dumb question anyway. Would you still own a car if you had to manufacture and assemble all of the parts yourself by hand?

Are you seriously comparing the work required to clean and butcher an animal with the work required to smelt metals from ore and machine parts for a car?

I can just about walk up to a goose, strangle it by hand, pull it's feathers out, shove a stick up it's ass and spit roast it in the time it would take to build a fire that would smelt iron ore. That isn't counting mining the ore, or the metallurgy required for turning it into steel, let alone the smithing required to machine the parts. Saying the two are apples to oranges is being generous.

I would compare the amount of time / work it would take to find, kill, and butcher every piece of meat I eat for the rest of my life to the amount of time it would take to build a single car, yes. You're acting like I kill and butcher 1 goose and that's going to be it, all the meat I'm ever going to need. Lol.

I guess that's true. You would probably have to only make one car every so often. With many years in between. But depending on how much meat you would eat a day, that can be a lot of goose strangling. Or whatever animal he kills... And all the prep work and cooking and stuff...

Exactly. I eat multiple types of meat every day, needing to prepare all of that myself would probably take longer each day than my job.
