GreenTreeClub 04/30/18 7:29:56 PM #10 | I'm really thankful for all the responses. Is the Maoi a natural substance like St. John's Wort? Though I am reading Maoi has some sideffects. I am definitely going to seek professional help, but I am willing to try the natural route first. |

GreenTreeClub 04/30/18 2:59:28 PM #1 | I'm 27 and I always thought that wanting to take them was a sign of weakness, that as long as I meditated and prayed long enough or engaged in other spiritual activities, I would fix it. Or that they weren't good enough and had too many side effects. But I have just reached a point where I realized that there has to be something wrong in my brain chemistry. Recently, watching Jordan Peterson's commentary on taking Bupropion and how it added what was missing in his life has convinced me that there needs to be a change. Anyone has experience with these types of medical therapies? |

GreenTreeClub 02/28/18 6:56:00 AM #58 | TES_Nut posted... Sugar is not a health food. I didn't say sugar was a health food. You can use it, however, STRATEGICALLY for energy and recovery as well as satiation (as long as you avoid desserts and combine it with plant based foods). Research the dangers of attenuated vaccines, which make the person sick. The virus breaks out of the cell wall and can give the user the actual illness. The only good vaccines are the ones with "dead" viruses. Jen0125 posted... i'm pretty sure it's not legal to give medical advice without some time of degree or certification to show that you're qualified. Telling someone to eat more plant based foods with fiber isn't medical advice. But I guess you knew that since you are healthy? Even if you had a degree, certification, you can tell someone anything anyways. Smarkil posted... And somehow you have less credibility than when you started this topic. My book isn't about vaccines, and so far I've only sold one unit. ASlaveObeys posted... < Ummm, no? I did research it. There is a sources section. Kyuubi4269 posted... Not even. This isn't true. All excess energy DOESN'T convert to fat. You need to account for glucose stores and the thermogenic effect. According to studies, in a mixed diet, dietary fat is stored first, carbs are turned into glycogen, burned off by body heat, and it if IS turned to fat, it will be a few grams. Most of the fat on your body is from eating dietary fat, not sugar or glucose. Your body doesn't want to convert much of that into fat because its the body's first source of energy. Sugar doesn't cause diabetes; metabolic syndrome and diabetes are caused by having excess fat around the abdominal region, but especially being obese. Who else do I need to school? TES_Nut posted... Their triglyceride levels must be through the roof. Triglycerides are a fat. For sugar to lead to high triglycerides, it must be converted to fat first. Chances are, your high triglycerides are from eating a diet high in saturated fats. Sugar will make it worse once you are in a debilitated, obese state, but nobody every got fat from eating sugar and plant foods. people get fat from eating burger, pizza, steak, donuts, bacon, etc green dragon posted... I hate myself It might not make that much money, this is just the test. I might send you the book later, not sure, if it doesn't sell much, Ill just make it free and you could save your money. |

GreenTreeClub 02/27/18 6:50:09 AM #40 | SunWuKung420 posted... Don't get so worked up. Ignorance and mindless following is rampant on PotD. Just look at the number of posters (and which ones) constantly feel the need to repeat the same lame attempts at insulting other posters. I guess so, but its a WEIRD mentality for people to have that they react to someone writing a book by implying it "shouldn't be so easy". That's basically trampling on my free speech rights. Smarkil posted... When you have the anti-vaxxer defending your research, you know it's time to give it up. As for vaccines, there are SCORES of articles online about vaccines sending kids into convulsions and giving them life debilitating ailments, and yet I'm the crazy one. |

GreenTreeClub 02/25/18 11:19:52 AM #35 | ASlaveObeys posted... Where did you research this information? Why do you need to be so uptight? Is everyone on this board so left wing? Yes, I researched. How long? Doesn't matter how long, the book was short and its purpose was to answer several questions, the amount of time it took was appropriate to answer the questions. You should be more worried about the quacks on Joe Rogan's show who tell everyone to eat a high saturated fat diet. You really don't need a lot of research to know that fiber and plant based foods are good for you. And the fact is, sugar doesn't increase your weight more than anything else; there's nothing inherently fattening about sugar. It doesn't get stored as fat as readily as fat in a mixed diet; in a mixed diet, dietary fat will get stored as fat first. Sugar will not. Do people need to be like little children and can't research/think for themselves? |

GreenTreeClub 02/24/18 6:33:47 PM #33 | OK, so I just published the eBook and the paperback, both will take 72 hours. I priced the eBook at $2.99, and the paperback at $5.99 (the minimum you can charge for paperback is around $4). Obviously, prices will change if they don't sell. The paperback turned out to be 140 pages since I made the font bigger. The eBook is automatically converted, you don't really change the font size for that. |
