Unfortunately, you are telling the wrong people. We don't make the poll.

To be fair, GFAQs itself says that we can discuss the polls on this board.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/7119-how-many-of-steams-games-do-you-have-in-your-library

Unfortunately, that links you to the wrong board for poll discussion. This is the board you want:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/1324-actual-poll-of-the-day-board

We've been trying to get admins to fix this for years, but it's low on their list of priorities.

They dont use those pre-order or you have content locked out bullshit like RDR and many other games

This right here is one of my biggest problems with games these days; not getting the 100% complete game unless you buy it on day one.

Same, and usually I try to be understanding of monetization practices. I know at the end of the day they're out to make money off of us, but some companies keep pushing it as far as it can go to see what they can get away with. Glad to see consumers are finally pushing back, I just hope the industry listens and can figure out a way to turn a profit without bleeding us dry.

Part of the growth process in mobile gaming. The industry on whole is going through growing pains right now as they wrestle with new tech, the rise in popularity in mobile gaming, that the current incarnation of VR may actually be more than a gimmick and might be legitimate and "have legs", figuring out how to stream games and have it be stable, the live-or-die with each new release that studios exist in now...

Mobile gaming has been featured at E3 in the past. Maybe not this high of a profile, but it's had a presence for years. It only makes sense given how many people own devices capable of playing games.

Mobile gaming has been around for a while now, and like it or not it's here to stay.

Is it really all that surprising that video game makers would try to capitalize and tap into a market with an established user base numbered in the 100s of millions?

That would be really funny. I've always thought Damage Control would make for great post-credits shorts, seeing them clean up the aftermath of all the mayhem that occurs in the films.

Not on gmail.

Only way to ensure they don't send you any more emails is to change your email address.

Not sure about other email services, though.

NC has a job-matching system called NCWorks - depending on what county he's in, he should visit his closest NCWorks center. They have veteran priority of service, so he'll see a staff person right away and they might be able to find him a job that fits.

Passed this along. Thanks!

My brother is a retired Marine suffering from PTSD, and he has bouts of insomnia. Hes been living off of his VA disability for some time but its not enough. I just loaned him money to keep his water and electricity on.

His main concern is that with the insomnia, sometimes he might need a personal day to crash and sleep now and then, and on short notice. Basically, a job that is fairly lax/generous with sick time or personal days. Hes a hard, reliable worker but just needs someone understanding to accommodate his condition.

Hes not unrealistic, he knows a lot of companies dont want to deal with someone like that. But if anyone knows a good place to look or put in a resume, wed greatly appreciate any leads.

I mentioned Uber and Lyft, or maybe Rover. Problem being that he has a pickup truck. It is 4 doors but I dont know that Uber allows pickups. He doesnt need much money, just enough to live on. His VA disability covers most of his expenses, but he could probably use a couple hundred a week, maybe only $100 a week.

tl;dr - Brother needs recommendations for a job that will tolerate random, possibly frequent sick/personal days.
