Every kid is like that: they have 1 assigned parent (that they derive all of their personality traits from) and then the other who passes Gameplay traits and hair. (Miriel's kid, Laurent, hangs a Lampshade on this)

Yes, though there is no Wolf Chick (In Awakening). Panne is a Rabbit.

They also have a permanent weakness. (And the classes suck. Especially Taguel.)

I don't know what yall are talkin about when yall say stuff like this so just lay it out for me

Lethality: Deals Lethal Damage. Assassin 5. Deals Normal Damage to Targets with Dragonskin (Final Boss, Hard+ Validar, Every Enemy in Apotheosis) Skill/4 Activation Rate.

Aether: Deals Normal Damage healing 50% of the damage dealt, then Deals Damage Ignoring 50% Defense or Resistance. Great Lord 5 (or Automatic Inheritance for Daughters of Chrom and Lucina) Skill/2 Activation Rate.

Astra: Deals 250% Damage (1/2 damage for 5 attacks). Swordmaster 5 Skill/2 Activation Rate

Sol:Deals Normal Damage healing 50% of the damage dealt. Hero 5. Skill% Activation Rate.

Luna: Deals Damage Ignoring 50% Defense or Resistance. Great Knight 5 Skill% Activation Rate.

Ignis: Increases ATK by 1/2 of the unused Attack Stat. Grandmaster 5. Skill% Activation Rate.

Vengeance: Increases ATK by 1/2 of Max HP-Current HP. Sorcerer 5. Skill x2% Activation Rate.

Luna+: Deals Damage Ignoring 50% Defense or Resistance. Always Activates. Enemy Only.

Note this is the activation order as well. If you have more than one, they roll for activation in this order. (E.g. If you have Aether and Luna it'll only roll for Luna if Aether fails.)

Vengeance is funny (and the best way to hear crit quotes) but not actually that great since you should be ORKOing most of what you fight without it.

Its busted when paired with a Chrom or Lucina marriage. But that's a Robin thing again.

So what you do is go do Apoth Runs.

It has the intensity for it without falling in the uncanny valley for main game.

The only absolute is the "Triangle", and that goes down to two particular pairings:

Donnel x Sully;
Gaius x Tharja

I'm pretty sure batman and severa will always be badasses, regardless of their parents, though.

The "Triangle" are Kjelle, Noire, and Nah.
They are a trio of units who cannot get Galeforce without correct fathers.

The problem is Galeforce alone isn't quite good. You want 2 Proc skills with them. (Luna and a Skl/2 skill for the most part.)

So there's a set arrangement.
Gaius offers Galeforce and Astra.
Donnel only offers Galeforce.

Kjelle naturally has Luna and Astra.
So Donnel fixes her up.

Noire has Luna naturally.
Gaius solves her.

Nah has nothing. And a really shitty set of mods.

Severa is always great. Best with LonQu as her father though.
Gerome not so much: he requires Berserker to do well. (Henry, Vaike or Gregor)... He, Yarne and Laurent form the hard support line: the are GREAT as pair ups, but shitty in the back line.

Robin has the stats to really abuse it, but pretty much anyone can be effective with it. You get plenty of spirit dust and don't have too many other people to use them on, plus enemy resistance sucks most of the time (and most of the exceptions have bad defense, it's really only Dark Knights that are a problem, and you have Beast Killers for them anyway), plus given you'll have the speed to double, all you really need to do is be able to 3 or 4 hit kill an enemy since pair up attacks will do the rest for you. Even on Lunatic difficulty Sumia doesn't struggle to kill things with magic, for example (she only struggles with surviving more than one hit)

Robin I can see, but Sumia's gonna be starting with an E in magic so she's not killing much of anything until that's fixed.

Like I'm not doubting your experience but even on my minmax Awakening run, getting Galeforce was the "thank god" moment when I could finally switch back to a class that could actually contribute beyond Rally Movement and pair-up. It just has not been good to me and it seems like you need a lot of extra effort to make it good.

Normally I'm pretty quick to point out how creepy the relationships in video games can be, but in this case I actually don't think it's weird, Robin met her adult self a few times before she was even born, any desire to "hit that" would have started before he had any reason to think it was wrong

The real Tactics Ogre. The class balance is poor, the arenas are sometimes good, but sometimes terrible tunnels. And then the branching paths. It's really technically amazing but realistically I just want to see the whole story. Having to play the game 3 or 4 times to do that is a drag to me. Then you add story characters that can die permanently and missable classes based on branching path and I spent the whole game scared as f of doing anything
