I dont know who they polled when they put them in town, but they opened up 2 different drive-up ones with drive thru and not a sit down restaurant. Nobody ever uses the drive-up stalls, they just go to the drive thru. I actually went inside and ordered once and they were confused as hell. One shut down already due to lack of business lol

Well, it certainly wasnt some spontaneous event like many would probably like to believe. We are stardust, as all heavy elements are formed by supernovas. We also know there were many asteroids formed as the disc of matter formed into the planets and that we were heavily bombarded by them. Theres also the creation of the moon by another planet colliding with ours, and that planet couldve been teeming with life for a long time, or couldve just been barren rock with an iron core. Its simply something we cant know so we speculate about it, with many of those speculations being not thought out at all. Ill go with the testable stuff any day.

Its more probable that a meteorite landed in the primordial soup, was carrying bacteria, which then was able to use the proteins as fuel. More meteorites crashed, more bacteria, etc.

Whats cool is that not everything here on Earth is carbon-based, as theyve found silicon-based life around hydrothermal vents.

Final Fantasy 1 was released in both Japan and the US. It was called just "Final Fantasy" in both countries. It did not sell all that well in the US though, so Final Fantasy 2 and 3 were never released in the US. Note that the real Final Fantasy 2 and 3 were NES games, not SNES games.

Its not that it didnt sell well, its more that by the time it was translated FFIII was already out in Japan and they didnt want to follow Enixs lead so they just translated the next one instead of the other two.

Final Fantasy 4 was the first one released on the SNES. It was renamed Final Fantasy 2 in the US since the real 2 and 3 were never released in the US.

I'm not sure if Final Fantasy 4 didn't sell well in the US or what, but for some reason Final Fantasy 5 was not released in the US. Final Fantasy 6 was released in the US, but it was renamed as Final Fantasy 3.

The FFIV we got was the EasyType (watered down) version. If you play the version from Chronicles (PS1 with Chrono Trigger) you get the actual Japanese version with a different translation. As for after that, they didnt think that westerners would get FFV (my personal favorite of the series) and that it would be too difficult so they skipped it. They tried releasing it internationally multiple times but due to internal issues it never made it over here until Anthology for PS1.

That was the end of the SNES era. Final Fantasy 7 was released on the PS1, and it was called Final Fantasy 7 worldwide. It was not renamed for the US.

Yep, though technically the US version is the international version, as the Japanese version didnt have the superboss Weapons until later.

Square Enix is now a big greedy corporation that create games for the mass, I don't want their games anymore. This company is dead to me. A new FFT couldn't been as great as the first one unless the exact same team works on it and WITHOUT any exterior influence.

This. Even the decent games in recent years (like Bravely Default) were made by separate studios and published by S-E. Good thing DQ is its own thing that cant be ruined by them.

The FFXIII series is garbage, FFXIV was a complete mess that had to be rebuilt from the ground up, the FFXII Remaster was a cash grab (no rebalancing after changing from single to dual classes so its easy), FFXV is still getting fixed. Then theres the million FF spinoff games that are FF in name only (Brave Exvius, FFRK, FFATB, FF Dimensions, World of FF, etc).

On topic: I always enjoyed the lore of Dragon Warrior/Quest and their take on dragons. Early game you have the baby Drakees then MagiDrakees, then the adolescent Wyverns, MagiWyverns and StarWyverns, then finally the adult Green, Blue and Red dragons.

Because its a pretty major thing, as having children upends your life. You go from normal people living to a place of massive sleep deprivation for multiple months or years, while learning how to care for a completely helpless being that they just send home with you and you have to figure it out - no manual included. And once you figure them out, then their needs change just enough that it feels like starting from scratch again. Becoming a parent is simultaneously the best and worst decision you can make in your life.
