Yeah I've noticed that. When I'm really excited about something and talking about it passionately girls seem to react in a positive way.

I think I have a fair amount to offer in reality. I'm smartish. Have a chem bs. Good paying job. If people understand my sense of humor they tend to think I'm funny. At worst I'm average looking. Some people say I'm actually kinda decent looking. Not like Brad Pitt or anything. But the term adorkable is thrown around a lot.

I can understand that and it sounds like you've got a good set of perks to work with to justify being attractive to someone. Even being average to decent looking is beneficial. I'm not saying I'm hot or anything, but I'm pretty good looking. I've been told many times over by women that I seem hard to approach because I'm attractive, I'm reserved and I'm not an idiot. Like.. they were saying that if one of those things were different, I'd be drowning in tang. Long story short, as long as you can look in the mirror and say something like "I don't look bad at all" or "yeah, I'd fuck me", your looks don't matter too much.

Everyone's flawed or, rather everyone's imperfect. While you may have easily discernible flaws, the person you're likely looking for should be someone who either doesn't view your flaws as flaws (and might even view them as strengths), someone who accepts said flaws and/or doesn't really care about them in the first place, or someone who is willing and capable of working with them and helps you fix them. Hopefully they're all that and more. Either way, any person who is attracted to you or wants to get with you already accepts some of that from the get-go.

I think somebody used the N word and somebody else should resort to physical violence in response. I clearly stated that. In frisbeedudes topic I childishly said physical violence shouldn't be an acceptable response to words and was shown the error of my ways (which I was warned for, btw it's been 8 days and no moderator has responded to my dispute but that's besides the point)

This is a supposition on my part, but I'd wager that some of the reasoning behind the rejection has to do with how said virgin portrays themselves. Honestly, the biggest thing I learned after losing my virginity is that it really doesn't matter that much. Some people might suspect that if you're a virgin, you'll become too clingy after doing the act, which is a realistic possibility, but unfair to assume.

I guess to end this rant before it gets out of hand, how you act may have more to do with it than the virginity itself.

Honestly I think the bigger issue is that she didn't have any input. When i bought my wife's ring, we picked it out together. That is the time to discuss how much is being spent.
