Well right now the NA version is nowhere near the JP version in terms of Lapis, rainbows and other goodies.

By this time in the JP timeline they already had UoC tickets, were practically giving away 5 star rainbow pulls and there was a literal fountain of lapis (that you didnt have to pay 7 bucks for).

Gumi is either going to have to make changes to how the game handles the upcoming 7 star stuff or literally dump heaps of lapis, 5 star tickets, gil and XP cactuars on us since it takes SO much to get 7 stars up there. They arent going to gate the content or change it so while we're all suffering to get any 7 stars, the content becomes unbeatable because we dont have access to the 7 stars fast enough to get anything done.

Data mine shows that UOC tickets in the Squall event are possibly being changed to 50% rainbow tickets.

This is what I use to build teams.

You can log in using your gmail and set units, tmrs, inventory, materia/abilities and espers to make sure it doesnt choose shit you dont have when building.

Initial set up is time consuming but once you get it all in there keeping it up-to-date is easy.

Zarg worked much better as my MP battery. I probably didn't need to, but I fully enhanced Rejuvenate, kept his attack low so as not to kill Shantotto with Bushido, and occasionally used his other buffs if I had the time. Friend Barb was a 100% Evade provoker, which worked great for me as it let me chain her with Shantotto, leaving my own Barb free to chain cap with DC Aeroja.

Just Shiva and Carbuncle left. Not sure if I'm going to push for those or not.

All 3 star espers are worth it. Even at level 1 they are more powerful than their level 40 two star counterpart.

Shiva was definitely the most annoying out of all of them released but its doable.

You can make carbuncle easy or hard depending on how you beat it.

I just stayed light with Carbuncle and never really ran into any issues. I also kind of cheesed with a setzer double dice capper to 3 Freyvias to bypass his high spirit/def

I did the step, used all my tickets and only got 1 rainbow. My 4th Onion Knight.

With that along with my 4 CG lasswells, I have 2 STMRs done.

Ended up getting a 2nd Onion Knight and an Emperor Shera as well as all the 4 stars (2x LMS). Pretty good haul.

So, I tried using:
Noctis - 90% Evasion (best I could get)
Basch - 215% Fire Resistance
A2 - Damage
Fryevia - Damage
Ayaka - Support

Even though Noctis was Provoking (had Golem on him for Provoke instead of Fish), other units, especially A2, would still get hit by physical attacks quite frequently. Got him to 23% and he wiped out the party except for Basch with Physical attacks.

Basically my turn Order was always:
Basch - Twilight Guard T1, Armor Eraser T2, repeat
Noctis - Provoke T1, Cover T2, repeat
A2 - OHC every turn, Berserk when available
Fry - FFB every turn
Ayaka - Embolden T1, Meditate T2, Curaja/Dedication as necessary, Shiva when full Esper gauge.

I just ended up bringing full evade WoL and a 200% fire res Mystea. At that point you dont even need a healer because you literally cannot die.

What's your evade gear because if youre getting 90% with noctis then I imagine it's not very good.

My friend has done at least 7 10+1s on the BM Fina banner and got boned super hard. He's pulled like 4 5 stars but none were Fina. He's pissed.

Added my info to the list. On the friend unit thing I have Oldman on there now but I have been using Luneth+2 for a long while and will probably swap to DKC+2 after this event when I have the last bit of power mats to +2 his soul eater.

Also I never realized how many base 5 stars I really had until I had to hit yes on the ones I did have. That's not even counting multiples but damn.

Murder Trivia is ok but 90% of the time we all gather around and play while drinking and its just more fun to make up ridiculous questions and answer them or do ridiculous internet headlines. Word spud is one of those 'try to fuck the others' over type of game which can lead to hilarity.

You'd be on the bandwagon if they were around for years and won a championship and you went out and bought gear I.E. the Houston Astros winning the world championship last year and everyone and their mom went out to buy hats/shirts.

The GKs have only been around a year, youre just getting into the ground level.

Gotten lucky the past few days with regular ticket pulls and the free daily when it was around

Pulled a Willhelm on a gold to rainbow

Pulled a Roberta gold to rainbow from the banner which is number 2 but her TMR is pretty good.

Pulled a Frevyia today from Banner 3 on a blue to rainbow ticket and finally used my 100% Needle TMR moogle I've been hoarding since her banner way back when.

My friend has had the Devil's luck this week and pulled 5 Rainbows but he also had the devils un-luck when 2 of them were olives and he pulled 2 Lunera's on the same Banner 10+1. He did get an explorer Aileen though which is nice I guess.

Tossed down 10k on 2 10 pulls on banner one last week to hopefully pull a Loren and got shit so I was pretty angry about that but meh.

Apparently Android users can currently collect the compensation by logging in on an iOS device. If you were an Android user who wasn't impacted and can try it out, it might be worth it for a few freebies.

It works. You can just log into the game on iOS and it will trigger the mail for compensation, then you can log off iOS and onto your android device and claim the compensation from the mail so the lapis will transfer over. If you claim on iOS you get all the reward but the lapis (obviously)
