| MACisBack 06/27/18 3:16:43 PM #33 | Since you're probably starting out, these are my pointers. -Change your eating habits(cut fast food and all empty calories out including soda, candy, beer/alcohol and literally junk food(anything high in sugar with no nutritional value). Do it slowly until you phase them all out.) Replace junk food with good wholesome nutritional food that can be bought from the store(all of these foods will have no stupid gimmicks such as low in fat/high in fiber/no sugar added/etc/etc printed on the outside.) -Learn to cook and read labels (this matters the most so you can diversify your menu instead of eating oatmeal, bananas, and almonds for every meal. Also watch meal preps on youtube if you're super lazy for ideas.) -Start working out(I recommend body weight exercises until you build up enough strength to do weights. I also recommend cardio to help pull the weight off faster such as running/fast walking/jogging/biking/swimming. I started out with the exercises from the martial arts board here.) -Don't stay up late (This is where you hard work goes down the the toilet because you will binge eat when you're extra tired and pour excessive calories down your throat that are probably bad for you since you will crave salty and sweet foods.) He found some kind of problem with his body and knew if he continued on it would only get worse and he would lead a horrible life. A friend of mine's dad took off after the doctors found several cancerous spots on his lungs(years of smoking) and ended up committing suicide because he didn't want to do chemo, didn't want to tell his family about it, and didn't want to go through all that other difficult things that wouldn't guarantee him to live. --- "There is wife assisted suicide. Stop talking about it or posting it(By vocalizing a problem you are either concreting it into stone or just making it worse.) 2. Create a plan of action (Create a different day from the things you eat to the things you do. Build, destroy, rebuild until you find the right design for your life.) 3. Deal with it (Whatever it is, as ugly as it is, or as bad as it will make you feel, face it head on as long as you know you're in the right do it. Ex. Drinking less is hard to do but man up and do it.) 4. Failure can happen, don't let it ruin you. (So you had a drink when you weren't suppose to, let it go, don't kill yourself internally about it, and go into the next day trying harder to succeed.) 5.
