The studio wants to keep the franchise, but doesn't really want to put in any effort or money in making a good movie, so they will hire shoot something really half a**** , throw some Pinhead scenes in it and call it a day. |

That someone that is supposed to represent justice, protection, community, and serving....can do that to an innocent person. And that that person can go to prison for years knowing they're innocent but not getting anyone to believe them until they've already wasted away in prison and had a ruined life. And guess what? This actually happens, and not just with drugs. They can frame you for a multitude of crimes, destroy people's lives and get away with it. Nobody wants to admit it but at that point it is essentially their word against yours and you are left trying to prove your innocence. Not to mention judges/courts will likely believe the police over you since we have this weird culture of thinking the police can do no wrong. |

This is just another continuity that branches off of the original and ignores everything else. I supposed there weren't many other options. They could do a sequel to Zombies to movies which probably wasn't going to happen. They could hop back to the original series and do a sequel to Resurrection but that continuity was such a mess by that point they probably didn't want to do that either. Another reboot which would seem odd since it just happened with Zombies first Halloween. I guess making a new "Halloween 2" was the next best option lol |

Retired or not, they should be given his sentence instead as punishment and he should be receive money for damages to his reputation, probably lost his job considering he sat in prison for four years, not seeing family and friends, and just generally being punished for a crime he not only did not commit, but was framed by the police for doing.
