This is bullshit. The hijab isn't even mentioned in the quran. It's culturally required, not required by islamic law. There is NO religious basis for being able to claim your civil liberties were violated in doing so. It's like if I insisted on suing a bank when they told me to take my hat off because I'm deeply invested in wearing hats.

That isn't what's important though. It is associated with the religion. I'm sure the stuff nuns wear isn't explicitly described in the bible either, but it'd still be wrong to ask them to remove it.

TC, do you have a Medicaid managed care plan? If you do, you should be able to contact them to get info on mental health providers around you that will take your insurance. You might be able to find out about some you aren't aware of.

I think that sort of information should be on their website as well. I really would explore any avenue that might get you in to see a doctor/counselor. I think that would be the first step in getting better. With Medicaid, you'd even be able to get a case manager to help you with day to day activities at no cost to you. You just need to find a provider that can see you.

The thing I'm concerned about are teachers who are already unhinged getting guns. I know at least one teacher who taught at my high school I wouldn't want with a gun, concealed or otherwise. She literally got arrested for assaulting a student and can't teach anymore. I don't even want to think of what would have happened had she had a gun on her at the time.

Not to mention we can't even trust teachers not to have sex with their students. :v We're supposed to trust them with deadly weaponry now too?
