There are no quests that auto-fail by going there (though this does happen when starting a few other quests) and you can travel back and forth as you please. --- |

I don't think it gets more specific than that, but luckily there's only a couple things it could be. You can initially buy cards from the innkeeper and the bowl cut merchant that you save at the beginning of the game. Later, the innkeeper leaves and her cards go to the merchant's inventory for you to purchase. The only other card to get is from defeating the guy who teaches you the game at the beginning. If you didn't get that card, go to the Hanged Man's Tree in Velen and look around the ground. --- |

Edit: https://www.evilresource.com/resident-evil-4/files/info-on-ashley The kidnapper's motives are still unknown. Although there's reliable information that the perpetrator is an insider. Only a handful of people know about this kidnapping. It's been kept under wraps mostly due to the fact that we can't determine who the traitor is. The guys in intelligence say they have reliable information that Ashley's been sighted somewhere in Europe. But until we find out who the insider is, I don't know what to believe. It could be a ploy. --- |

It got to the point where I couldn't bear to listen to the characters talk anymore. There were also a ton of performance bugs. The gameplay is fine, though. It was like the opposite of ME1. Instead of pushing through the subpar combat of ME1 to get to the story stuff, in Andromeda I ended up mashing through dialogue to get back to the combat. --- |
