Yeah, I'm a pretty huge football (american) fan, and I also enjoy wrestling, but current WWE is just... Ugh...

I still follow it by reading up on it, but I don't bother to watch it live anymore.

Not to say I don't watch WWE, but I tend to watch older stuff on the network. Watched the Slamboree (Spring Stampede?) 1992 earlier, Sting vs Vader (RIP) was terrific, and looked stiff as hell.

I miss the days where a heel could get crazy heat from something as simple as a couple close-fisted punches.

That initial match was absurdly awesome.... Great American Bash or something? Either way, Vader killed him, and it was glorious.

That plus the Supreme Court has held that accepting a pardon constitutes an admission of guilt, which Trump is literally incapable of doing.

Yeah, but they play the Gothenburg style to a fault. Not that that's a bad style, and they haven't devolved as much as most of the bands from that scene. Dark Tranquillity is still the standard bearer for that scene though.
