Yeah, that was bullshit. Speaking of which, off the top of my head, a lot of their top picks have panned out recently - Duchene (before he wore out his welcome), MacKinnon... Rannaten has improved a lot this season. I know that's not all it takes to build a team, and maybe I'm forgetting a huge bust somewhere, but are they really that bad at doing everything else? I know they've long had an issue with defensemen, but even that MacKinnon over Jones pick that seemed slightly insane at the time looks pretty good now.

In my experience, there isn't a lot of actual skills testing in the interview, it's usually before. They do ask some skills questions, but I wouldn't think it's much more than other jobs. The main reason it takes forever is you interview like eight people, but only one or two at a time, so you get to answer the same questions over and over again

Is there a reason I shouldn't bandwagon Vegas? They've had an insane season and it would be crazy to cap it off with a Stanely Cup.

On the other hand, I'm still lukewarm on the idea of hockey in Vegas, and they've already far exceeded expectations. They could do nothing in the playoffs and probably still go down as the greatest modern expansion team ever

Length of the interview doesn't mean shit about your chances. You think that company brings its less serious candidates in for an hour? No, everybody gets the same schedule, it's just their process.

And I say this as somebody who gets really anxious waiting to hear back. I'll overanalyze so many bits of the interview to try to guess if I have a good chance, but the length isn't one of them (unless it was really short, but I'd take that as bad news).

They're on the Wii U VC. Doesn't make as much sense, but I'm not complaining. I'd rather play most games on a big screen anyway.

ZM is great, Fusion is okay. Fusion's setting is weird and the progression is so segmented; it didn't really feel like a proper Metroid game.

I don't recall Five Guys having portions that big. If they do, it's not as bad as the Baconator since that thing is almost entirely meat. Their fries sizes are ludicrous though, and it's a shame because they're so expensive. I only need like half of a small (ideally at half the price)

I don't particularly eat healthy but that's just incidental. I wouldn't eat like that with the sole purpose of gaining weight. Better to try to put on muscle than fat.

You can't just go a size smaller. If I want a T-shirt I don't swim in, for example, then it barely goes past my belly button, which isn't good either

fill out their clothes. I have a hard time finding stuff that fits nicely and isn't too small. Obviously being more muscular would be the best solution, but any kind of weight helps (unless you're extremely obese)

For real though I should probably stop talking about my depressing (lack of) career since I'm sure you're all tired of hearing about it. I promise I won't bring it up again until I actually get a job (so never)

Working while you go to school must be nice. I mean, besides the lack of free time. But at best you get some good experience and at worst if it doesn't work out, you don't really even need to mention it to prospective future employers. Or in my case, I had a job that I didn't get any useful experience with, but it was basically being paid to do homework. I wish grad school wasn't expensive and hard to get into, I think I'd rather do that than try chasing some nonexistent dream job
