Fire Emblem is definitely superior from a raw gameplay perspective. You have actually effective allied units. The ability to force weak-point gauges. No movesets that are just outright terrible. And the skill and weapons systems allows you to seriously customize units so even units with the same movesets can play differently. The weapon triangle also adds a level of strategy to the game besides kill everyone. Oh and there are minimal giant bosses. There is also a whole bunch of smaller QoL improvements that are hard to explain if you haven't played HW, but are great.

Hyrule Warriors is however much better at fan-service. That game is a mass-murdering love-letter to the Zelda franchise. It also has more unique movesets, characters, and maps. But I'll say the maps are more tedious. Some of the characters/movesets are terrible, and combat is much slower as you often have to wait for enemies to expose their weak-points to do any real damage to them, which can often end with a lot of waiting.

The Persona games do have a fair bit of "gay people as jokes" thing like the two people in Shinjuku hitting on Ryuji in P5, but as far as Persona 4 is concerned I don't think the Naoto section is very accurate. There's not much that indicates Naoto actually identified as a male, and it was more about gender roles and how men and women were perceived in Japanese society, and in Naoto's case, as a police detective.

I haven't watched a lot of Bojack Horseman, but what I've seen, it covers stuff like self-destructive tendencies and how hard it is to pull yourself out of a cycle. The "cure" for depression lies in motivation, but the problem is motivation is precisely what depression strikes hardest at. Whenever you feel like you're making progress, every setback feels magnified and it's as if you're taking two steps back, so you just fall into despair.

I agree there are better options besides suicide, but if you're talking to someone who is depressed, starting with "it's selfish" is probably going to do more harm than good.

Doug Ford makes a lot of promises and Zero methods on how to do it. Cut income taxes, cut business taxes, vague promises to "cut spending" somewhere, yet pledges to increase healthcare spending by a lot. Rob Ford also promised to end the gravy train in Toronto and discovered there actually wasn't as much gravy as he thought and many essential expenses taken for granted. I feel like Doug is going to learn the same thing.

Allow content creators more freedom to push the boundaries (to a certain limit) but also allow the audience more freedom to filter out what they don't want themselves (or their children, family, etc.) to have to see. That offensive game won't offend you if you never see it in the store or even find out it exists, right? So why should the game's creators or the people who aren't offended by it have to suffer?
