In a human embryo/fetus/baby.

In other words, I want you to be the authority and draw the "line" where abortion is ok/abortion is not ok.

If abortion a day before birth is not ok, but Plan-B is a ok, we have this date range now where somewhere in there it "happens". So you tell me what that is.

In my personal opinion, I'm torn between 5 weeks and 8 weeks.

5 weeks is when it has a heartbeat for the first time and the placenta is developed. 8 weeks is when it has readable brain waves.

To me, any abortion before 5 weeks should not only be legal it should be a free public service if the woman so chooses.

Honestly, nobody has time for this shit.

It's food.

You can spend that extra 3 hours on it, or I can buy the same thing from the Deli.

Is 3 hours of your time worth $10 to you?

If so, I'll pay you that $10 to be my cook, because you're working for nothing.

Marinara is part of the pizza. Sometimes it's replaced by a white sauce or a garlic sauce. But if your pizza has no sauce, then it's a focaccia or flatbread, not a pizza.

I'm not talking about THAT Marinara. I'm talking about the EXTRA Marinara you pour on top of the pizza or dip it in.

SilvosForever

The NRA loves to pretend that there aren't huge restrictions on what weapons a normal citizen can have, regardless of the 2nd Amd.

For example, I cannot own an RPG, grenades, an anti-aircraft gun, missiles, nerve gas, etc even though any of those could be used for protection. So the question is, if we have the 2nd Amd., then why can't I have and use these weapons?

My point is simply that we already ban huge numbers of weapons for civilian use, and so the NRA's argument involving the 2nd Amd. and personal protection is bullshit. The argument is logically exactly the same.

In other words, if an NRA member can get by without grenades and missile launchers, I think they can get by without assault rifles.

Imagine playing it in 1998 and compare it to other games from that time. That's it.

Some of the graphics are super dated, but the core is a fun rpg.

Other RPGs have done a lot of things in the 20 years after this one. So it may not blow your mind really. But at the time it was a big deal.

Don't overthink it or psyche yourself up or down too much. Just play through it and take things as they come. Ponder on the overall experience once you beat the game.

Ultimately, many in America seem to think children being gunned down every few years is a sacrifice worth paying to not make any meaningful discussion on gun control. You don't need to go as far as places like Britain and Australia did after they had school shootings (gun bans) but you'd think people would be at least willing to have tighter control and harsher punishments for any caught having a gun illegally.

Pretty much. I'm not too worried about ever getting shot. I'd rather have my freedoms and deal with the occasional (but blown out of proportion and propagated by the media cause $$$$$$$$) than hand over everything and put 100% of my trust in Trump.

In Trump We Trust. Take our weapons.

I guess you are honest that you are okay with children being regularly murdered.

I'm just "ok" with reality and real life. I'm not ok handing over my freedoms because well organized television networks know how to convince people that these problems are rampant, which they aren't.

There's a mass shooting every week.

And I've never heard a gunshot outside of a range and I live in a heavily populated area. I don't care what the news tells me. Life is 10/10 and I'm not trusting CNN to take my weapons, homeboy.

It's a minimal risk to take, IMO.

So if there's a shooting at your local school you solemnly swear to 180 your opinion immediately?

Not to detract because I'm a big advocate for mental health reform but if the argument is a criminal will find a gun anyways, wouldn't it be just as fair to say a criminal will avoid mental health facilities as well...?

If you reach them before they BECOME a criminal in the first place. It's about addressing people's distress before they even WANT a gun.

But then we have to rely on those within the profession to be the upmost caring individuals with full integrity. On top of figuring out how to implement it so no ones left behind. Public schools in K-5? What about private and homeschooled?

Etc etc.

I believe it should be a public service, offered at no charge. And that the workers should be well-compensated.

Yes, this is an expense. Yes, it might mean we pay a bit more in taxes. But the fact is sometimes there are things worth spending your money on.

But that goes back to them wanting to utilize the service. What if they just don't want to go in for a screening? What if they think they're completely normal?

Like I said I completely agree with the idea but I'm fairly confident the focus is on gun control because that's something we can actually implement to cut down.

That is another hurdle to tackle. The idea that even visiting such a facility or person means "I'm not normal". I think the message of:

"This is available. Come in anytime you're feeling down. Feeling down is totally normal. X number of other students have come in for help and it has helped them. It is totally private and free."

Just re assurance.

Are you going to require mandatory psych evals? How else would you reach them before it happens?

I would hope it would be completely voluntary, but also well known and accepting. Like a high school guidance counselor, only actually effective, and more specialized to deal with emotions. Maybe this is what guidance counselors were MEANT to be. But in any regard, that is the goal.

Maybe a daily homeroom teacher reminder that these people are here to help. It would be private of course.
