Yea it's ridiculous at some places. I think that all emergencies should be next to free, and regular doctor visits and non-important surgeries should stay how they are.

I had a hernia last year come down into my ballsac and it hurt like a son of a bitch and I couldn't walk, and my emergency room visit just for them to scan it and push it back in, not even sew it up was over $8000. How am I gonna pay 8K when the most I've ever had at a time is like $700? And then they said the lowest I could pay monthy was $40 to pay it off, which would be almost 2 lives of paying one 2 hour visit to the ER. And I couldn't very well just not go and just deal with the most agonizing pain I have ever had. I told em I couldn't pay that cuz I didn't have a job, and they haven't bothered me since. And I'm not gonna pay it either cuz that hospital is run by crooks and doesn't deserve my money.

I think the writers of the textbooks have made PLENTY enough already, and plus, education should be really cheap, like textbooks are not.

I dunno, I feel if I cared about people learning, I would want them to be able to learn without spending a small fortune. I would seel an educational book for next to nothing if not nothing.

Yea, find a free online version if you can, also, actually ask your professor or previous students if you really need the textbook. I've just completed my first year, I was supposed to have 4 textbooks, Biology, Statistics, Anatomy, and History. Never got the Anatomy and still passed barely, rented Stat for $25 and used it like twice, bought bio for $17 and used it once, and then I got an old version of the history book for free from the library and barely used it either.

I'd make sure you're not wasting your money and use it on something useful. Also, how bad is your tuition? I'm at a small college, and because I still live at home and get a lot of financial aid, I actually got over $200 refunded out of the nothing I had to pay for Fall and Spring, but then had to pay just about $400 for Summer. With just HOPE and PELL

Yea, I have my charger right there at my bed, and and put my phone in the crack I have between the mattress and the side of the bed frame. I use it as an alarm and I just always have it on vibrate at all times in the day. Text vibrations don't wake me up, and I don't get many of them, and if someone's calling me that late, it's probably important, cuz no one that has my number would call me in the middle of the night out of nowhere for no reason.

I find it weird that people don't have their phone within arms reach when they go to sleep. It's a very important tool, why not keep it close by? It it cuz you don't have the self-control to not look it while going to sleep?

There is no public transport where I live. The nearest bus stop is like 25-30 miles away from my house, and it's in Albany GA, which is consistently ranked in the top 10 worst cities in America, and the buses there are crappy, scary, and filled with crackheads

So I have really never rode on any kind of public transport, other than the school bus, or a quick shuttle bus on a college tour. On the school bus I would sleep in the mornings and play on my tablet/phone/3DS in the afternoon.

The only news I trust completely is the local news. Stuff like CNN or MSNBC don't really LIE, just mislead or leave information out, stuff like VICE and The Washington Post push their agenda with a lot of lies and propaganda, and stuff like Fox just outright lies or they have no idea what they're talking about at all.

My local news, both on TV and radio just report what happens, mostly locally or what will affect our area, with no bias. And I love them for that.

They probably already owned the ships, helicopters, and other equipment. The guy was a literal billionaire with established businesses. They weren't offsetting the cost of equipment against the auction. They weren't even offsetting the cost of the people against the auction, because they were being paid by Lockwood to begin with.

Hell, they even used Lockwood's money to set up the lab and the sales area.

It was seed money, that they would have, that Lockwood wouldn't have to fund.

They didn't go out and buy brand new vehicles and ships in order to do this. Your idea of spending millions upon millions for that is flawed to begin with.

Edit: Overall, I enjoyed the movie. But there were some pretty bad parts. It was derivative of Lost World anyway. Hell, both movies so far have been basically slightly more successful derivatives of Park and Lost World.

You didn't like it, it's cool. I just think your idea of the money situation is wrong. But no worries.

I never said I didn't like it, I did like it, a lot. But I still don't think your reasoning explains the cost of the dinosaurs. It still would have a fuck ton of money to send those guys out if they did own it all, and then that money aint jack shit to start up anything compared to what he already has.

Spoilers obviously

First was near the beginning, several smaller things like, the "paleoveteranarian" never seeing a dinosaur before. Like how are you a vet on something you have never seen? How could you possibly be able to help an animal so drastically different from everything you could practice on? And how hard would it have been to just have made her character someone who had worked at the park before and managed to escape?

And then later, they said Blu you smell you from a mile away, and they would NEVER be able to catch her without Owen, but Owen managed to look at her location, go there, park like 500 feet away and walk the rest of the way and be like, "oh wow, she's right here and hasn't moved at all" AND she gets surrounded by like 20 of the other dudes somehow, without picking up their scent from a mile away. Like wooowww, that seemed so hard, and Owen was soooo necessary. Then the sudden turn of events where the guy helping them was a traitor all along, which had like no foreshadowing and just came off as more confusing than shocking.

Lastly, the price they sold the friking dinosaurs at. The dude was happy with a measely$128 milli for half the dinos, INCLUDING THE SECRET ULTIMATE KILLER DEATH WEAPON DINO PROTOTYPE. After it took like 2 huge ass cargo ships, 50-100 huge ass cargo trucks, 10-20 helicopters, and however many hundreds of people to operate that whole thing for the long ass time they were there.

ONE FUCKING APACHE COSTS LIKE 35 MILLION, THAT'S ABOUT A QUARTER OF THE PRICE FOR HALF OF THE FUCKING DINOSAURS. Like really, it just felt insulting for them to pretend like that was a lot of money, no one other than a little kid would think that was a lot of money for the billions it took to get the dinosaurs there. That was the part that pissed me off the most by far. Legit made it feel like a little kids movie with that bullshit alone.

And the ending was kinda anticlimactic, just "well, fuck you humans, you live with dinosaurs now, get over it, the end"

But in general, it was pretty good. I'd say I'd give it an 8/10, but that absolute bullshit child's play money situation was just so stupid to me that it alone makes me lean closer to a 7/10. Cuz again just to recap, this rich ass dude in a big ass mansion with a bigass multi level underground laboratory filled to the brim with cunning edge technology to revive dinosaurs, is bringing back a handful of the last dinosaurs on Earth with the help of a small army, and is selling them to the richest people in the world for, if I had to guess and end price for them all based on how the auction was going, no more than a quarter million dollars. Pocket change for anyone in a situation like him. So stupid

I never hear it talked about ever, it's like no one else knew it existed.

It's a pretty fun series, they're survival games where you have to get off an island, and they're all pretty hard. The people start dying of hunger like halfway through the day lol. And even though the animations and stuff are kinda ugly (especially the Wii one) they're all really fun, and have lots of secrets and multiple endings for a lot of replay value.

I don't know why they never got popular at all, I guess cuz they are pretty ugly, but I was just so surprised to see it on the poll. Then not surprised at all to see it only had 130 whatever votes

Eh, kinda. Not really, but it's their place, they can have or not have anyone they want in there. But I'm sure if it was somebody like, I dunno, one of Hillary's campaign people getting kicked out of somewhere, the same people saying it was ok for Sarah to be kicked out would be outraged.

Yea, I could probably do it a better way, but near the end of the cooking I'll just crack an egg and dump it in the pot, then stir it around. Then there's little chunks of cooked egg all around the noodles. It's alright, I only add one sometimes.

I also add seasoned salt, oregano, pepper(black, red, lemon, whatever I feel like), soy sauce, and cheese. For the microwave ones I have at college, I just bring a little soy sauce packet, and I throw those nasty cardboard vegetables out. The lettuce is about the only good thing that comes in those, but I'm not gonna sit there and pick out the good parts

It's pretty good, I've been playing it with my little cousin on the switch and we were having a good time. One match we just ran around on a shopping cart and didn't kill anyone and came in 6th place. Another time we just hid the entire time and came in 2nd place, the only kill we got was half of the last enemy team, so we were one kill away from winning. And then that dude styled on me to kill me by building a room around me and killing me with traps lol

Although I will never understand how anyone could ever spend any money on the game, let alone a hundred fucking dollars. Just like that really popular final fantasy mobile game or whatever it is where people spend like thousands of dollars on it, like that shit is BONKERS

No, not really poor tho. My dad used to be a Truck Driver, and my mom stayed at home. We lived in a nice-sized double-wide in a trailer park and had stolen cable(it was already there from the previous owner, my dad just used it for years until the cable company finally fixed it, then we got Dish), but we never went hungry. We hardly ever went out to eat tho, just ate at home. And I always had video games to play, even if they were usually used and/or a year or two old by the time I got them

So not rich at all, not poor, a little below Middle class I'd say.
