His introduction continues and he's a force to reckon with as he's like Cooper but with no remorse or compassion. The best part of Windom Earle's arc is what happens when he gets into the Black Lodge. Bob and the other entities are only interested in corrupting souls that have good in them. Earle's already evil so Bob takes his soul and he's left to suffer for all eternity or whatever like an afterthought. When they learned they had a hit, they barely kept up by writing a current season and failed to do any planning for the future. Some things worked out ok enough like how Deb evolved from a shy, awkward girl that had no self esteem and began to understand how the law could be helpless and vigilantes may be needed (season 5). Then season 8 comes along and pees on any development and it's clear they never even thought about her character arc; it was all an accident. Oh, then there's the guy who turned into skeletor. They had no clue what to do with him. Deb's partner, whatever his name was. Same goes for Angel and the cop boss. One season revolved around them getting married. The start of the next season, they split up and it's about the fallout. Without Michael C. Hall, that show would have been absolute dung......wait, what was the question? Reboot?
