Yeah, I think so. I've been raising that crappy three-star HG that knows Flare lately, 'cause I'm sick of losing out on the 1-4 night battle. (Spending resources leveling up its narrow-use ability is one of the worst feelings, though.)

Honestly the flare skills kinda suck because of how the formula works. The problem is that flares arent negating the night penalty (like PEQs do) but just multiplying your accuracy after the fact.

I would not bother with them unless you really like their design or dont have a better HG to slot in right now. Definitely dont waste precious training data on them either way though.

Yeah the MG's are a huge step up from everyone else in terms of ammo.

At max link MGs carry 140 ammo vs SMGs carrying 85.

Lowest to highest for ammo is HG, RF, AR, SMG, MG. Rations are HG, AR/SMG, RF/MG.

Dunno where shotguns land.

Id get a nice pair of actual headphones and something like the antlion modmic (it clips onto your headphones basically). Just make sure the headphones have some sort of volume control dial if you want to use them on your PS4.

At my store youre late if you arent on the floor and ready to go (full uniform etc) when your shift starts. Shed be getting written up for that shit after the first couple days.

But if this has been going on for awhile and nothing has been done yet then management probably just doesnt care. So look forward to picking up the slack until she leaves.

We had a ton of fun messing around with crackdown 2 but we paid like $2.30 CDN each for our copies of it.

We were looking forward to 3 and planning to grab it when it hit a decent price drop. The perpetual delay might mean we end up skipping it though.

Personally, I enjoyed the 1-50 experience in FFXIV a lot more than the 1-70 in GW2. I'd never start a brand new character in XIV to do it again though (not that theres any reason to with the job system), but in GW2 I've got multiple 70s. GW2 is definitely the easier game to jump into and get caught up to your friends / hit the "real" game. Especially if you don't care about the story in XIV.

My problem with GW2 is that if you take a break you end up missing huge chunks of the updates because of how the living story works (worked?). Maybe they've changed it, but last time I was playing regularly they still locked the story arcs you missed behind the gem store. It often felt like I'd log in and there wasn't really anything new to do because of that. I'm also still upset that they cut Monk and that Ranger is just perpetually garbage.

I just tried to find a copy of the actual complaint or whatever the equivalent is in S. Korea and can't so I'm not sure what it actually says. From the PR and articles I have read it sounds like there is more to it than just "they copied our game concept." It sounds like there is some kind of alleged business or licensing agreement that they are going to be fighting over.

Yeah, the lawsuit is most likely more about Epic being shady as fuck with how they handle Unreal licensing / updating than it is about them stealing the genre.

The driver at my old house was pretty fucking awful, and half the clerks at the pick up locations were utterly useless.

They'd regularly mark off packages as "delivery attempted notice left in mailbox" at like 7am (when the truck didnt hit my house until 11) and then they wouldnt even put the notice in my mailbox until a day or two later, which is great because there were two pickup locations they'd send me stuff to. Or my personal favourite, I'd see it loaded onto the truck on the tracker, be home waiting for it because it required a signature, and I'd literally watch him drive past the house and then a couple minutes later mark it as a failed delivery attempt (and not even leave the notice).

One time in particular I had an expensive international package coming and they just never put the notice in my mailbox at all. Then 2 weeks after it was "delivered" I got the pick up reminder card saying they were holding it for 7 more days. Went to get it the next day and they told me I waited too long (despite the date on the card and the tracking saying it was still there) and that they already returned it to the sender and there was nothing they could do.

They're actually one of the main reasons I cancelled my Prime membership. Somehow Amazon still doesn't have anyway for us to set a preference for a shipper despite all the problems Purolator / Canada Post seem to cause their customers.

I couldn't tell you for sure if it works on PS4, but on xbox as long as you're signed into (online) with the account that owns the DLC it should work. So you'd sign into both your main PSN (DLC account) and the guest account (game save). If it doesn't let you multi sign in like that then I think you might have to just restart, or get your buddy you gameshare with to buy it on his account maybe (or whoever has the "primary" account on the console).

They've been doing comms suspensions for bad words for a long time now. Not even bad words, just being rude to someone in messages can get you suspension on Live if you get reported.

Policing word docs and (private?) skype calls seems weird though.

They arent supposed to serve pedestrians/bicycles/etc because its a safety hazard for them to be in the lane. They also aren't supposed to open the window for random people because thats how you get robbed.

That said, the McDonalds here in town has never refused to service us when we knocked on the window at 3am. Just back up so they can clearly see you. Or you can try standing by the box and see if it registers you well enough and let them know you're on foot.

The place we're moving into doesn't have any inlets left because the contractor who is flipping it fucking covered them all over. There is apparently coax in the walls still but I'm sure its going to be an absolute clown fiesta trying to get the tech to actually install it where we need it.

Last time we moved the tech refused to run it through our drop ceiling. After 30 minutes of arguing with them that yes, it is their job to do that, and no, it is not a safety violation, they just walked out and left us without any service.

Yeah they're pretty awful devs in general, but especially with the console versions. From what I remember they basically left the 360 version to crash and burn with no comment and even the current gen ones are still a mess.
