I think there are plenty of left-leaning people who are guilty of this, too, but you probably see it more with right-wingers recently because conservatism isn't exactly a good look right now. In general it's just people having a desire to not upset anyone, and this fallacy that the best answer must lie in the middle.

They should have put 2 on there at least but I can live without 3. But maybe then some people would have complained and said it should just be the whole trilogy at that point. Yeah, same here. I've seen SNES Classics at my Walmart several times since they came out, so if it's anything like that it shouldn't be too hard to get. I'd probably just mod mine if I get one, although I can't think of many NES games I like that it's missing (other Mega Mans I guess but you can get those in so many forms already)

Thanks for the update. I'm not actually so sure anymore if I want one because I feel like I've gotten tired of all the good NES games and there's a lot of junk on there. It's probably a good idea to get one just in case though

Did they really only spend $1.2 million on ads? I agree that isn't much, but that's just one way of influencing. AFAIK anybody can make an unverified Facebook "page" for free, and those (and Twitter accounts) were a big part of it too. That stuff gets shared and shared and shared and ends up having a huge reach. Also, who knows if we really have a complete paper trail of who was actually spending money and where, that amount could be bigger.

Yes, and before you "both sides" this again, the common thread with these wasn't so much being pro-Trump, but anti-Hillary. They played a long game with the Berniebros too and it worked out. Obviously there is no way to concretely say those ads were enough to give Trump the push he needed, but it's laughable at this point to deny that the Russians wanted Trump in office

It's almost like international relations are complicated and you can't define (or undefine) your narrative based on one or two specific actions. There's also a lot of difference between words and actual actions, as well as how world leaders appear with each other in public vs. in private. Sometimes people make concessions with each other in service of their larger vision. You can be satisfied with some of Trump's actions on Russia and still be skeptical and concerned about what's really happening. The Russian involvement with people involved with Trump should be a concern for anyone who's not a blind Trump sheep

It's really not that hard once you get used to it. It made me nervous at first but that's probably normal; after all it is a large and potentially dangerous object, and there's nothing really "natural" about doing it.

I made friends with a decent amount of my co-workers, and I'm glad, cause most of my college friends moved away after graduation. But there was this one guy from work who I secretly hated who started ending up in a lot of the circles of work people I'd hang out with, so that kind of put a damper on everything

Edit: The guy I hated would talk about reading stuff on 4chan (he actually said stuff like "social justice warriors" out loud), vape constantly, and frequently talk about how he can't get laid. He's not actually as awkward as all that sounds, it was more of a slow realization on my part that he's an asshole

Edit: Actually more so I had it cut because I have a job interview coming up. When I cut it myself I do a decent job with the sides and front but there are usually little fuck-ups in the back that I don't catch till a couple days later

SMRPG is SUPER overrated and I have no idea why people like it so much.

I liked it okay, but I don't think I really enjoy RPGs much, so it's nice for me. I would tend to think more "serious" RPG fans don't like it since it's more casual, but it looks like it's decently popular here.

Most of the gay kids were already out when I was in school. The only one I can think of who wasn't out was just deeply in denial; he was the only person who didn't know he was gay.

Other than that I don't know of any stunning revelations, but I really don't care to keep up with people from my high school, especially any drama/trouble-prone ones where you might expect something crazy. All I've really seen is the usual people getting fat and having kids
