What would you suggest he do? He asks friends (me included) but because of our work schedule we cant help him get back and forth to work. We dont have money to help. I dont really know the legality here but the person who sent him money is from Georgia - which means its federal since its crossing state lines. Hes had many job offers afterwards but due to not having a car and his mom refusing to help, he couldnt actually start employment. With lack of bus routes and all offers of employment being 30+ miles away, he cant get to work if he accepted. Fast forward to now, a year later, he just scammed someone for $1,000 online. He just sent me a screenshot of him receiving the money on PayPal. He asked me yesterday about this and I told him it was stupid BUT hes desperate. His mom moved away and hes bouncing around couch to couch from mutual friends. His mother has two cars one of which she doesnt use. She wouldnt even let him use it to get to and from work. Feels bad man. |
