You can blame home depot all you want, but the protocol exists for many reasons.

One being as they said, to diffuse the situation rather than escalate it and have employees or other customers be subjected to potential violence from an altercation.

Also, people like this asshole customer are BEGGING to be assaulted by an employee even if it is retaliation just to pursue a law suit which they would win or settle.

It's why retail stores will not allow employees to stop thieves. There is way too much liability involved. They'd rather let them steal some merchandise than deal with tenuous lawsuits.

But it's an absolute bullshit rule and standard set by these retailers.

So...I'm always really suspect unless I have pain.

Believe it or not, small and early cavities MAY actually heal themselves if they are on the surface and you are rigorous in brushing and cleaning at that point.
