Do The Right Thing is definitely my favorite Spike Lee movie I've seen.

I highly recommend 25th Hour and Inside Man if you haven't seen them. Those and Do the Right Thing would be my top three.

He Got Game is a decent basketball drama, and School Daze is worth a watch, if only because it was not at all what I expected.

The miniseries is more accurate, but the movie is way closer in spirit to the book.

The miniseries had awful acting and was pretty campy. While some things were omitted from the movie that I wish wasn't, it's still vastly preferable to the miniseries.
