Im 27 and my love life is as follows

- a girl or two had a crush on me in Elementary and middle school

- literally zero girls liked me in HS. Got told on a daily basis how ugly I am and some outright told me to kill myself

- when a girl finally liked me it was an over dramatic emo girl who I barely knew and was telling me disturbing shit she wanted to do to me (drinking my blood etc)

- that made me scared of people because when I told her to leave me alone in the nicest way I could she had a complete tantrum and that basically being one of my first experiences with romance made me scared of dating

- I gave up and accepted I was dying alone in my mid to late teens

- when I was 21 a girl showed interest in me. I knew she was kinda weird and eh looking but I was desperate. Went on one date, realised I didnt like her, my first ever kiss sucked. She was confessing her love to me and planning her future with me after one fucking date, it was creepy. Literally telling me she cant wait to be a mom and Im the one after one date.

- I got my first kiss out of the way and then I relaxed a bit. Started playing guitar, being more active etc

- at 23 another girl showed interest. Went out with her for 10 months, worst mistake of my life, I was used for money, emotionally abused and on one occasion physically abused.

- at 24 I went out with one girl 3 times and ended up with a stalker when I said I wasnt interested. Literally multiple messages and missed phone calls

- Im now 27 and havent dated since but my shitty experiences made me realise how much I liked being single. If I meet someone tomorrow, in 10 years or whatever then cool but I dont base my life around relationships. In the best shape of my life, enjoy my hobbies and working so whatever.

I have about 10 guitars but my main two are a Fender Telecaster and Epiphone Thunderbird with Gibson pickups.

I remember seeing a Columbine news report where they used the fact they liked Ramnstein as evidence for why they were Neo Nazis and weirdos.

I also liked bands like Smashing Pumpkins, L7, Bikini Kill, Sonic Youth but because it wasnt top 20 in the mid to late 00s I was a weirdo for liking it.

Twilight Princess will be 12 years old this year.

Hear me out. I believe in love in terms of loving a pet, loving a hobby etc but romantic love, soulmates, only one for me out there I think is just total BS. I dont know one long term relationship where they are happy, every young person relationship is lucky to last 18 months to 2 years then when that ends they have someone else within 2-4 months usually.

The feelings that people say is love is just a chemical reaction in the brain which is only there to keep the human race breeding but thanks to Hollywood, everyone rambles about how that is love and how if you dont have romantic love or a partner that you are somehow less of a person.

My cousins cant survive without men to the point where they have literally zero personality outside if they have a dick at the moment or not but then im apparently weird because 3 years ago I quit dating and still dont plan on doing it, again.

When I started this hobby pretty much every game was a buck or two. Now these same games are 20-50 a piece. Fuck this overpriced hobby.

My sister outright refuses to get married, my brother hasnt had a boyfriend in years and my friends wedding last year was interstate and I had work. Also my cousins who have gotten married did it when I was younger and they made them adults only events.

Mentioned this a million times on CE. I had no self esteem, only had ever had one date before I met her. she took advantage of me, used me to buy whatever she wanted and a treat me as a free taxi. Would always talk me down in front of others and warp everything to get her way, aka emotional abuse. After I got the balls to get out of that unstable relationship she hit on my friend almost instantly.
He rejected her then she asked him and one of my other friends if they had any friends who were looking for a girlfriend....we are in our 20s....

Fast forward 3 years, my friend forgot he even still had her as a Facebook friend because he is rarely on it. My friend who she hit on gets a message from her the other day asking if him and her are still friends, hinting if they could hang out soon and asking how me and my other friend are. He says he doesnt even know her and that I am fine.
She then questions if I hate her, he says why do YOU think he would hate you?
She responds I dont know, I was nothing but nice to him.
Then we ask about why she treated me the way she did and used me for money, she responds I dont know about money. Thats not important, man then we pushed it, no, why did you use him for money
I never once used him for money.

Thats when we blocked her. I know that around the time I bailed a few other people who were friends outright ditched her. She pretty much has no friends left because everyone got sick of her selfish nature and no one would go out with her, hence why she tried to come onto my friend again and basically tried to reconcile with me and my friends.

Sure I find women attractive but I honestly find people who base their entire lives around dating and relationships as the weirdos. There is a difference between dating and those people where this is all they got and this is there entire lives. To me people who cant survive by themselves are usually red flags that they are emotionally unstable.
