9/10. Probably the smoothest gameplay experience in gaming. Good games have good story modes, bad games don't. The genre can stagnate sometimes but it's in a healthy place right now imo.

I don't really see what they do with the story to make it interesting. I thought most of the campaign and related stuff in 4 was pretty cool but 5 was just weird, especially with that choose your side thing that ended up not mattering at all.

They had set up some good stuff with 4: interesting lore with the forerunners/prometheans and how they came to exist and how it all tied in with the flood The prometheans were frustrating to fight but were worthy enemies that brought a lot of cool new weapons. The magnitude of the threat presented with the Didact and other possible forerunner enemies felt increased in scale from the previous trilogy without feeling over-the-top. I thought the 4 campaign ended in an interesting place too with the Didact zapping that city and turning a bunch of people into prometheans, but 5 never did anything with that. And like others said the stuff that happened in the spartan ops set up more interesting possibilities with the campaign and 5 mostly threw all of that away in favor of the Cortana rampancy story which was just meh.

I don't remember how Falcon became an Avenger but I feel like it was probably mentioned in one of the other movies. Still, he could get some sort of side movie that could be interesting; showing him standing on his own.

Scarlett Witch's progression as an Avenger has been shown pretty well in the existing movies I think and I don't see a lot of potential for a stand-alone movie for her.

Black Widow is the most unknown to me, so an origin movie or something else for her seems the most possible of these 3.
