he's the original sub-zero who was killed during the original Mortal Kombat tournament by Scorpion. Quan Chi brought him back from the dead to serve as his minion and promised him revenge against Scorpion. The second (current) Sub-Zero is actually the younger brother of Noob. Eventually he realizes his brother was a bad dude and he ends up working with Raiden & the good guys to defeat Shinnok/Shao Kahn.

3 days a week

$1620 a month. Only $80 cheaper and that's IF I'm lucky enough to find someone willing to work that cheap to watch twins.

I'm just throwing out ideas bro. Venting more than anything. Not begging people to give to my GoFundMe on Facebook or IG. It's also not whining. It's a real problem that I'd say 80% of families struggle with.

I also explain why I can't stay at home on the first page. My family needs my medical insurance. I get excellent coverage for a fraction of what it would cost my wife if we went under her company's policy.

This is why you don't have kids unless one of you is in a position to stay at home. Or unless you have parents who are retired and willing to babysit so the money can stay in the family.

Imagine having kids just to ship them off to daycare. And then expecting everyone else to subsidize your decision for you with their dollars.

Yes because my wife should give up her six figure salary to stay at home lol. Who is also in her early 30s...and would likely have to go through a ton of complications if she waited any longer.

Also, is it our fault that our parents are not retired yet? I'm glad that my mom and dad had me in their youth. Who the hell wants a 50 year old dad when they're graduating middle school?

Yeah I guess there in lies the problem...perhaps the deductions would be more than $20 per paycheck. Likely $150-$200. But the parent(s) would still pay less per month under this policy than on their own. I don't know, it would take a smarter man than me to make it all work.

Are you fucking insane, a narcissist, or just completely fucking selfish?
People can't get their cancer covered by providers, and you want them to pay for someone to watch your brood because it's too expensive and inconvenient for you.

Are you for fucking real? Let me guess, he's not your president right?

I should have added to my initial post. I don't understand why there isn't some form of insurance that helps subsidize the cost though. we have car insurance, health insurance, life insurance. You mean to tell me these dopey insurance companies haven't figured out a way to construct a childcare policy for parents? $20 bucks out of each paycheck gets me $500,000 if I die. Why can't I give that same $20 and only pay a co-pay each month for childcare? What parent or parent-to-be wouldn't enroll in something like this?

That's why my waifu is a stay at home mom, she may start working evenings/weekends when her mat leave ends, but no way are we paying for child care. Why have a kid if you're going to have other people raise them?

This was a last resort. We have no other alternative. Neither of us can stay home. I need to work to keep my family on our insurance plan. My wife needs to work because otherwise she'll go insane caring for them everyday. They're a nightmare most days. And she already reworked her schedule so she had Mondays off. My mom is already jeopardizing her job by "working from home" on Fridays.

And we both make good money, but yet half of it is being thrown away on this.

Why did you have kids? Asking seriously, because it sounds like neither you nor she was really up for it.

It kinda just happened. And we are both in our early 30s. So if not now then when? We love the boys. But let's be real. Having one is tough...but dealing with TWO crying babies day in and day out will drive even the most patient person insane. My wife is incredibly patient. But even she has started to crack because of the stress.

Has nothing to do with wanting kids or not. You don't know how they'll be til they're here. Right now they're teething too which makes it infinitely worse.

If they're only 6 months old should your wife not still be on mat leave? I don't know how it works in America, but in Canada you get a 12 month, or 18 month Mat leave option. (18 month is reduced pay obviously, but it works out to getting a little bit more). My wife is getting ~70% of her usual take home pay on the 18 month, though we got really lucky with ours, I believe it's usually 50% with a max of ~$1000 every 2 weeks.

you only get 3 months of paternity leave. Then there's something called FMLA but she would only be eligible for up to half her regular salary. And that only lasts 3 months as well. Count your blessings bro
