That's less than a minute of work per day. And they usually don't care much about what you do. They might come up to you on their own, but you can turn them away if you don't want them. But anytime you want a droopy-spined fuzzball to play with, you can just go pick it up and it probably won't care either. Other animals don't have an off button, whether it's them forcing themselves on you, or making lots of noise. It's not something I would seek out or anything but I don't feel it effects me too much to watch it. One of the grossest things I've ever seen was actually a result of my mom. She was watching some show about horrible accidents that have come through ERs but it was real footage and she called me in there to see. This guy was in a motorcycle accident and his leg was twisted all the way around like twice and all his muscles and tendons and shit was exposed and man it was just fucking gross. And I think knowing it was a real thing and not Hollywood special effects that really got to me about it. That's one of the best ones (Best for gore. Terrible stuff though.
