Honestly, I'd be okay with this if the coach didn't give some piece of shit snack in comparison to donuts. Seriously, cheese crackers? There is probably a lot of stuff that isn't made with peanut oil that is way more appealing and equivalent than fucking cheese crackers.

I get your wife's point, and agree with her to some extent. Coach should be allowed to provide whatever snacks but it's kind of insulting that everyone else gets something arguably way better than what your kid is getting.

I agree. We have a peanut, tree nut, fish and shellfish child. She is just 4 but she would wonder why these kids were getting doughnuts, a sweet and she was getting something crappy.

How about ask your wife to find an allergen safe alternative, she should know better where to find them than the coach, plus she would trust them. Have her buy them and have the coach to hand that to your child other than the cheese and crackers? Allergen free treats are more expensive but surely there is a doughnut somewhere. We order a lot of things online.

TopicHypothesis: Boomers hate millennials because they remind them of their parents
myghostisdead
10/28/18 9:42:58 AM

Boomers don't hate millennials as much as the media likes to push they do.

There is always some division between generations and always will be when the child grows up enough to replace the parent.

My mother told me how her grandmother said her she cut her long hair in flapper style and dressed differently than her parents and they thought the young generation was going to Hell in a handbasket but they were still their kids. Just something different and kids want to do something different. Then we have the 50's teens who's parents were worried about their music, dress and so on but I don't think it is hate.

Many millennials remind me of the hippies which many of the boomers were or lived alongside the movement.

It will never change. The child rejects the parent and the parent shakes their head at the child but it is still parent and child relationship.

I don't know who is doing this, or why. I am guessing it is somebody on the Alt-Right, as I do not believe this to be a false-flag operation.

Only clue was an ISIS flag image attached to the packages, but I believe it could be intentionally misleading.

Whoever is doing this should be sent to a maximum security prison or executed. I hate everyone who he is sending the packages to, but this is terrorism.

It looks to be a parody of the flag.

Sure, it was fine. There were bad things that happened but I am not going to blame my parents. They were people too trying to do what was best for the family although my self centered, teenaged brain didn't see it that way. School wasn't the best, I had some bad times and things went bad with other kids, picking on, bullying etc. But again, we were all pretty self centered at that age period and I am sure I seemed to have been one of the bad guys to someone else.

It isn't the greatest age to be and we still learn hard lessons then.
