| saspa 12/14/18 11:47:31 AM #1 | Maybe it's because AC Unity is the worst game of all time so anything seems better by comparison, buy AC Syndicate is pretty fun so far knock on wood. Holy crap at how fast battles are. Instead of the slow awfulness of AC Unity, Syndicate has the characters throw lightning quick punches so that battles end as quickly as possible, as they should. Hmmm but it still retains AC Unity's shitty climbing mechanics where I can't jump from rooftops anymore, I have to "climb down" ugh. Any notes on the game or twin thing? Not sure what the purpose of the gimmick is yet. --- |

But I always looked at it like all cultures have weird bigotries that don't really make sense to outsiders or even insiders that think deeply about the subject. There is undeniably an increase in health risks when first cousins have children but it's also undeniable that the risk is still extremely low. Iirc it's more dangerous for a woman in her late 30s to have a kid then it is for cousins to have a kid. But do people demonize older woman that have kids? Nah. There's no consistency or logic. Cousin incest being taboo is just a random part of American culture. Why would people demonize a woman for having kids? --- |
