They actually gradually lowered the bar(lol) for passing as well as made it easier over the years. My girlfriend's class was the last one where it was actually challenging in NY.

Why was she deemed unfit in the first place?

This is actually a really good question. It is very, very hard to lose your children as a woman by the US court system. The judge has to pretty much believe your kids would turn out better running amock homeless than let you raise them to lose custody. Lol.

I have no idea why, as I have only known the family for five years now. I'm not interested in knowing why, but seeing how the little ones are raised I could guess.

She is my age(33)and is a GRANDMOTHER because her 16 year old daughter has a baby. Her kids are mostly failing school and half of them have mental problems. 3 of their fathers are jailbirds and she was dating a 21 year old who beat her up and broke her colllar bone.

She never got in trouble for child abuse or neglect(like smoking weed around the baby) but she's going down for abusing a dog lol. Oh, they found another dog in her yard emaciated.

In fairness if you're having an actual esport style fighting match, then you don't want a stage with a bunch of hazards or gimmicks

Which is pointless for comp since those stages already exist

The "Hazard toggle" turns off things like Yellow Devil or moving barrels, this is true. But stages are banned not just because of hazards that interrupt gameplay, but because of degenerate geography. Stages with a lot of verticality or a random small platform way off to the lower side or a wall can all become camp-ridden, where either character approaching is disadvantagous, killing the match. Then there's stuff like "Caves of Life" like the new BotW stage: you can just tech off of the ceiling or wall and survive to stupid percents by staying in that safe zone. And then there's stages like Mute City where there is no bottom, or stages with an upper blast zone so short that characters like Bayonetta can just kill you at 0 for free.

People who complain about comp stage list tend not to know what they're talking about, and if not being able to play on Corneria bothers one that much, tournaments probably aren't their thing.

In the facebook singles group I'm in, this subject comes up a lot. It's full of nothing but single mothers, and they will get angry with you if you say you don't want a kid. And the men will come along and say things like "those are boys, not real men" with regards to men who don't want kids.
