Not exactly, those numbers are essentially how many people took a character from the top half of the division over the bottom half.

I'm pretty sure it's just correct picks vs incorrect picks, actually. The number by the winner's name being correct picks.

Alucard has actually appeared in four games, as far as I know. He originated in Castlevania III, but he's best known for Symphony of the Night, in which he is the main protagonist. He also appears in Aira of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, but in disguise as Genya Arikado.

The very popular Netflix Castlevania series is based on Castlevania III, and Alucard has a prominent role in it. In addition, he's been shown as an assist trophy in Smash Ultimate.

Perfect Blue is the only one of Satoshi Kon's works I haven't seen - I downloaded it a long time ago, but I gather it's a very dark film and I never found myself in the right mindset. All his other works are incredible, though, especially Paprika.

On one hand, PR stuff is kind of outside the boundaries of a "head admin" job, generally. On the other hand, you'd think they'd be able to hire somebody to do PR stuff for a major site event, or something.

The thing that bothers me about the lack of communication re:match pics is that it's something that could have been dealt with really easily before the contest even started. "We're not using user-created match pics until round X, until then we're just using these ones that you can see in the bracket." Instead, not only do we not know anything until the round starts, but we still don't know if there'll be user-submitted pics at all.

I'm not going to call Allen incompetent when he's already doing stuff outside of his standard job describtion like running the contest, but I think it's fair to discuss/complain when stuff could be done better.
